Nigel was a God sent hero when I first set foot in Guernsey. I had only 1 week to find an accommodation to be able to start work and I cannot be grateful enough for having him trusting me in renting me a room at Chequers. He helped me out with kitchen items and offered me a duvet as I had none and it was freezing October. I had the best room with a yard, the house was always kept clean and Nigel was always quick to attend when something had to be fixed. The best landlord in my opinion. I’ve been living in Chequers for just over a year now. The landlord, Nigel, is friendly, approachable and very helpful. Any issues(which are rare) are resolved swiftly. The house itself is difficult to beat when you consider other rental-options at this price-point. Nice big kitchen, quiet location and a 15 minute walk to the centre of town. Would highly recommend using Nigel and Executive Homes if you are looking for a room to rent near town.

Nigel is an excellent landlord. Very friendly and goes out of his way to help with whatever you need. House was always looked after, and Nigel made sure to make the place a great place to live. Nigel was also very honest and I recieved 100% of my deposit as well as refunded rent ammedietely with no fuss. Highly recommended!

Excellent landlord, professional, attentive and friendly. Nigel takes great care in ensuring that the house is in good condition and the tenants are happy. Any issues that arise are dealt with promptly and professionally, taking into consideration all members of the house. The accommodation itself is clean, well maintained and organised. Each property is conveniently located in a quiet area just outside of the town centre with shops only a short walk away. Ontop of everything you'd expect from a landlord, Nigel himself is a genuinely great person. During my time at the Chequers property, we've had many conversations, laughs and we even received a small gift at Christmas!

He was provided me temporary accommodation in 2020, the day after the lockdown started and drove me to the shops to buy my firsts groceries, kitchen utensils and bedding. Moreover, the house location is very convenient. Therefore, whatever you may need is within walking distance!

You won't find a better landlord! Nigel takes good care of his houses. Nothing is too much to ask to be fixed and there is 100% transparency with rent contract and bills. He makes sure we are well and the house has a good climate between tenants. I am his tenant for a year and half now and would rather switch between his properties than find a new landlord.
