We had a FABULOUS experience with Entree! The only reason for the 4 stars and not 5 is because I feel we wasted too much time in Anchorage. Our itinerary had us going from Talkeetna to Anchorage and then on to Girdwood. After arriving in Anchorage, we realized why our guide was questioning why we were stopping there for a day. We arrived on a Sunday and there was nothing open and nothing to do except sit in the hotel room waiting to go to dinner. It would have been better to head straight to Girdwood or even Seward from Talkeetna instead of wasting time in Anchorage and then heading out with another driver the next morning. Other than that, we had a wonderful trip!

I am extremely impressed by Entree Destinations, and really enjoyed working with Jennifer and also Cat on a separate itinerary. Your team is engaging and professional and help to elevate the client experience with prioritization and unique experiences plus amenities! The travel agency business is a tough industry where it's difficult to maintain life balance and in some cases, it can be challenging to stay productive and profitable on an engagement basis. Having the transportation, reservations, tours, and tips handled in advance makes a huge difference in relaxing and enjoying one’s vacation. The first class accommodations for the train and lounge were especially appreciated. The accommodations and transfers were top notch. The tour guides were knowledgeable and fun. I also liked the documents from Entree outlining the trip and what to expect. Everything was excellent and my group of 10 made many happy memories for our birthdays.

Ended up not doing bear viewing when read "need to hike 5 miles on uneven terrain in 4 hours" It was inappropriate for someone my age and physical ability.
