The guy I spoke with was really nice, even laughed at my jokes, and also gave me a discount. I spent ages online searching for the best price, and this was the company that earned my business. United Kingdom | 04 November 2023Awful company, be very careful about the product descriptions, I did my research and they advertised a drive awning from outdoor revolution as ‘exceptionally waterproof’ we now know its certainly not waterproof and the top and sides leak, also a manufacturing fault with a strap, the only option offered was to post the awning back at my expense, stay away from this company

Makes me wonder if review ratings are accurate or skewed to help push people into buying a poor product. FYI my issue was with moonlight yurt (damaged window) requested replacement and was denied as it was warranty voided for been up for 2weeks. Crazy, expecting a tent to last more than 2 weeks!

Most recently however I ordered the wrong item (Same product just the wrong size) and customer services resolved it immediately, cancelling the order and refunding my money straight away. It's easy to praise a company like this when they get everything right but if I as a customer make an error and they still go out of their way to rectify it for me then that is especially impressive. Thank you so much.

United Kingdom | 08 September 2020A HUGE thank you to Gemma at World of Camping. She has sorted out a warranty claim for an item purchased from another company! I was so disillusioned and let down by Leisure Outlet, the awning I had bought was damaged and totally unusable. So, having phoned and emailed Leisure Outlet to no avail, I called World of Camping to see if I could just buy a replacement. They answered the phone for a start and Gemma took it upon herself to sort the whole thing for me as I had had such bad service from the other company - she just felt it wasn't right. She has restored my faith. Now THAT is how customer service is done. Thank you again.

Even though they are not meant to be processing collections due to Covid-19 they refunded the delivery on the order and I picked the item up with no issues. Excellent customer service throughout, gave super clear instructions throughout the whole process. Will order from them again, a shining example of how customer interactions should be.

United Kingdom | 18 July 2019We bought a Vango air hub from world of camping, upon first use during our holiday,one of the valves was found to be leaking. I contacted world of camping on Friday dinner time to discuss the problem. They immediately agreed to replace like for like. The new tent arrived Monday morning, this may not seem exceptional, but as they are based in Redruth, Cornwall and the tent was delivered to a campsite in the north of Scotland I thought that deserves credit. The faulty tent was not thier fault, the way the handled the problem was superb. Brilliant customer service.

United Kingdom | 12 July 2019Bought a tent from World of Camping made by Vango that leaks round the edges every time it rains. Looks like the tent was made faulty. Have sent the tent back to World of Camping and Vango twice now each time asking them to speak to me before sending it back but each time they just send it back saying there is nothing wrong with it. Paying £460 for a tent you can not use then getting constantly fobbed off is wrong. Avoid Vango if you want a tent that does not leak. World of Camping are polite on the phone but ultimately I have bought a tent off them I can not use. - As you can see World of Camping replied 10.10.19 The tent was sent back to them within the Warranty but they returned it still leaking, As we don't use the tent camping often we had to wait till the next time it rained whilst using it to find out it still leaked, Returned it to Vango twice each time no phone call from them to discus the fault even tho I put a covering letter in asking for a call they just returned it to say it was OK. This has dragged on for years so yes the tent is well out of warranty now but wasn't when the problem started.

United Kingdom | 19 September 2018Very poor service. Ordered a tent and paid for next day delivery as I needed the tent urgently. I never received an order confirmation email. I was unable to set up and account as the verification email never arrived. I eventually called them only to be told that the tent was not dispatched a day late (no use to me). They had no explanation and I had to cancel the order. The only positive was that the customer service person was very polite and helpful.
