The product is of good quality and exactly as described. The delivery was fine but not in the advertised timescale, although admittedly only a day later. I did have to email to chase the delivery and time but it is a minor point and I would have no reservations in recommending Splashdirect or the showerscreen I purchased. As other reviewers have said the fitting is a little fiddly and the screen is quite heavy - definitely a two-man job.

Had to wait for stock to arrive. It was delivered, I thought complete, but Splash Direct omitted a vital piece from the waste and when I called and spoke to a representative, she denied knowing what I meant - until she spoke to my husband and even though he told her the same thing - she understood! She wanted me to take a photo of the missing bit and send it to her. Lack of understanding from her and I was disappointed in her tone of voice which came across as fed up, irritated and that I didn't know what I was talking about. I found this experience unpleasant and the representative patronising. Thankfully I don't need to order again from Splash Direct - if this is their customer service, I shall go elsewhere for my main bathroom refit.

I have not yet opened the package as I am awaiting a contractor to install new bathroom fittings so can say no more than I am impressed by the specification and appearance (on line) of the unit which was available at an extremely competitive price. Given I have not yet viewed the product, i have given only 4 stars but that could become 5 stars in due course - Sorry if that is not helpful !

The recessed basin had obviously been a reject - the base had been ground down and the glaze at the back of the sink had been ground off. It did not sit flat on the worksurface. I waited over 3 months for the basin to arrive and they had my money all that time too.

Ordered a shower curtain rod that fits wall to wall. It was delivered promptly with ease. When I opened the box and looked at the fittings I saw that there wasn't any grub screws to mount the rod. I accepted that they may have been overlooked and emailed to tell Splashdirect. I've now emailed twice without reply...and given up on them....and have a screw holding the rod in place! Good luck!

I bought a D shaped, soft close black toilet seat. I have a cream bathroom suite and could only find white toilet seats in this shape. I googled D shaped toilet seats and Splash Direct came up in the list of companies. After researching I found such a variety on the site. The item was out of stock but they kept me up to date with the progress and it was delivered promptly. Excellently packaged and a perfect fit. I only wish they could stock cream ones ;-) Disappointed that there wasn't cash back through Quidco just because I ordered on my ipad. I am going to order another to keep as a standby. Overall Excellent company service.

Unfortunately, after placing the order I had no further correspondence with Splashdirect until I had to email them to query about the status of my delivery as it had passed the four day time slot and I had heard nothing. The next day, before they had responded, the delivery arrived. We were lucky that I was in to take the delivery and not at work as we had still had no notification about shipment. Customer services eventually got back in touch and said 'sorry' but this is simply not good enough and very poor service. if you are thinking of ordering just be vigilant. Hopefully the products are of decent quality but I am still awaiting instillation so I shall keep my fingers crossed.

We aren't the most technical of people but this shower screen was simple to install and does the job. Looks good too. Delivery was much quicker than I expected, so an all round positive experience.

Had to chase the order, due to stock delay they made sure it was with me the very next day - so was impressed - but an advisory e mail would have helped before. Packaging was excellent, and the product exceeded my expectations when opened, so very happy with purchase. Easy to fit, and sturdy wall channel to hold glass screen. Would definitely use again.

What else could have gone wrong with this order.... I ordered 4 items on a next day delivery and it was about 11 days before the order was complete. I placed the order on Sunday to be emailed on Tuesday to say the wc was out of stock. They didn't send the rest of the order so the plumber could get to work so that was a waste of a day, my order then arrived a tap short on the Thursday... I call them and am advised it will get there pre 12 sat... Saturday comes no tap! I call again and get told it had gone missing we will have one with you tuesday, Tuesday comes an surprise surprise no tap! I'm then told it's out of stock an can have one on the 30th of January 2015.... This went down well with the plumber! These Two items had to be changed even though they showed in stock when I ordered. They were however upgraded at no extra cost to myself which did redeem the situation. I ended up getting my delivery charge back and tap free of charge. In all the customer service from April and Mollie was great they really did try to help me. I would use the company again because of how good the girls were but would order well in advance!!!

Anticipating delivery of my order but it hadn't arrived so telephoned the number on the website. This number seemed only to deal with orders apparently, so I was given a second number to ring (0845) and expressed my concern to need to make a second phone call. Helpful response on the second number, and reassured that delivery would be within the time frame I had opted for. 10 days later I rang again and, as I hadn't retained the 'second' number to call, had to go through the 'order' number. Very helpful person assured me the product had left the warehouse and would check with the courier. She emailed and telephoned me promptly with a response. Although received by the courier, there was now no trace of the screen so further investigation required, If it was not found, a replacement item would not be available for a further 4 days when new stock was expected. I suggested that, if there was indeed a further delay, shipping should be by express courier at their expense. Fingers crossed I shall have a shower screen by the weekend one way or another. I don't know if anyone else has experienced a problem with their delivery/courier system, but it could be seriously affecting their reputation if this is anything other than a 'one off' and I just happen to be unlucky.
