United Kingdom | 11 November 2014When we had our guest bathroom refurbished, we had a folding shower screen fitted over the bath. Despite it being correctly fitted, water was able to leak through some small gaps in the plastic sealing strip. There was no available solution to the problem, and after sending Splashdirect photo and video evidence of the leakage (which involved having to take my clothes off to turn the shower on before videoing!), their excellent Joanne agreed to supply a shower curtain , rail and rings free of charge to replace the screen.

United Kingdom | 10 November 2014Arrived safely packaged, which was good as the pallet collapsed while trying to get it to the house from the wagon. Shower trays are very sturdy and have only got as far as fitting them so can't comment about the shower door and enclosure.

United Kingdom | 10 November 2014I ordered the products I wanted online and waited for the delivery. When the order arrived, the driver was particularly unhelpful. He unloaded the pallet that my order was on my three year old son could have done a better job of packing it. He wanted to leave it on my driveway for me to unload and bring into the house, as apparently they're not insured to bring the goods into your house (bear this in mind if you order something big. It's not made apparent to you on the website when you order). The driver agreed to unpack the order from the pallet and thankfully two window cleaners across the street came over to help me lift the stuff. Then it turned out that the mirrors I had ordered were packed on the bottom of the pallet, with two seriously heavy shower trays and shower doors packed on top of them. Needless to say, both were smashed. Again, the driver was fairly unhelpful and didn't know what I was meant to do about it. They should be briefed about the returns policy, even if they don't work for the company. I rang Splashdirect and told them what had happened. They told me it was unacceptable and they would arrange for replacements. I had to rearrange the electrician who was meant to be coming to fit the lit mirrors. When we unpacked the rest of the order, I realised that a sink was missing, which again I had to contact them about. At the same time, I also realised that I had made a mistake and ordered the wrong shower unit (I only needed a door and not a unit). When I contacted to ask them if they would let me return the unit for free, given the complete mess that was made of my order, I was unceremoniously informed that I would still have to bear the cost of a courier (around £50) myself. I pointed out that someone would be coming back to my house to redeliver the mirrors that they'd broken and the sink unit that they'd forgotten, so couldn't they take away my unwanted shower unit - I was told that they wouldn't and I would have to arrange and pay for this myself. I am gobsmacked and extremely unhappy with the way all of this has been handled and the lack of goodwill and acceptance of the inconvenience that it has caused me. I won't be ordering anything else from this supplier.

With the help of an online discount voucher we bought the item we wanted and got free delivery! Excellent customer service and would recommend to all our friends :-)

It came quickly, was of a good quality and was easy to fit. I will be ordering one for the ensuite bathroom soon. I would definitely recommend this website.

United Kingdom | 06 November 2014Despite ordering in good time and paying for a Saturday delivery and waiting in, our order was not received until the following Friday due to a catalogue of errors with the delivery. Splash Direct did all they could to assist (and seemed genuinely embarrassed themselves) but this still resulted in our delivery being one week late, our project being delayed, and involved multiple calls and emails on our part (not to mention a lot of frustration!). Good customer service but I wouldn't recommend due to the unreliable delivery service on offer.

I asked for my money back and to return the goods but was told I couldn't do that as fitting of the goods means that I have deemed it fir for purpose. How can I tell if a toilet seat is fit for purpose until I've fixed it to the toiled and used it?! Such a ridiculous statement. I was then offered 10% refund of my purchase price and my P&P. I agreed to accept this offer. That was over a month ago and there has been no refund. AWFUL product, awful company.
