We recently ordered a Darwin sofa from the Parsons Green branch. The quality of the sofa is brilliant and we're very happy with it. The purchase process wasn't so great, bar one staff member (Emily, who was very helpful and knowledgable) we were largely ignored in favour of other, slightly older customers. We visited the showroom on several occasions and when going to make the purchase the help ensuring measurements wasn't easy as the showroom assistant seemed unsure and kept making mistakes, which was not something that filled us with confidence when spending over 3k on a sofa. We decided instead, to order online and added a requirement to the order that their plane and legs not come attached to the sofa to ensure it fitted through our front door. I was assured by another assistant this wasn't an issue and would be added to our order. When we took delivery however, the plane and legs were, you guessed it, attached. The third party delivery guys were brilliant and removed, then reattached the plane and legs for us after the sofa was in the house. This is frustrating as had they not been able to do this the sofa wouldn't have gotten into the house and we would have been charged to return the item, due to an ordering error on DoC's part. All in all, the sofa is brilliant, the production time was quicker than estimated and the delivery team were great but given the choice we'd have easily ordered the sofa from somewhere else if it were a possibility as the atmosphere in the Parson Green showroom (excluding Emily) left us with an impression of 'not interested in providing good service unless there's a commission involved' and even then, the service wasn't all that great. Make sure to do your homework measuring before ordering and don't rely on the store team too much, as the sofa's are great!

The staff are great. Unfortunately the sofa was not so great for me (definitely do not recommend purchasing a sofa that you haven’t actually sat on as comfort is so subjective). The look of the sofa was beautiful however. I wasn’t aware that they only refund 80% of the purchase price. However, my situation was dealt with efficiently and kindly but I recommend fully reading the terms and conditions before final purchase.

I was just disappointed with the after sales, nobody including my sales rep followed up to see if I was happy with the sofa. That would have been nice.

Have deal with Darlings twice over the last couple of years and have been delighted with the quality of their furniture and the customer service received. Ruth at Hertford has been particularly helpful with our most recent purchase. Thank you Ruth!

Ordered a love seat in June. Received an email informing me that it would be delivered in the last week of July. Made arrangements to go away making sure to be back in time for delivery, but 5 days later I get another email informing me that instead it will be delivered early, in the period that I had booked to be away. Darlings of Chelsea suggest I delay delivery and pay an extra £50 to store the furniture and will not waive the storage fee despite the situation being down to their error. I’m having to can el my holiday because they can’t get their information correct. Very bad customer service. Will not use them again.

Excellent customer service at all stages, from the minute I walked into the Parsons Green showroom to the delivery day 5 weeks later. Sofa quality is very good and Darlings also use a first class delivery company.

Overall, a really first class experience, from showroom to delivery. We wouldn’t hesitate to use again . A big thank you to the delightful staff involved along the way.

Absolutely beautiful sofa and superb service from Darlings. Delivery had to be rescheduled due to a broken down van (Altas were the delivery company) but it was rescheduled at a time that suited us and came first thing. The sofa is beautiful and we cannot fault the workmanship. Great experience!

My experience with Darlings has been absolutely brilliant from start to finish - the customer service I received, in particular from Mo, was outstanding. Helpful, knowledgeable and friendly from my first visit to the showroom, Mo then continued to steer me and my delivery patiently and diligently through the ups and downs of a house sale falling through and an ever changing delivery date (at my end)! When my sofa arrived and was installed in its place, the fact it cost me the price of a small car became irrelevant because it just looks amazing - the quality is superb and it's just a shame I have banned the whole family from sitting, eating or drinking on it. It was worth every penny and Mo I am really grateful for all your help thank you. 😁

Exceptional sofabed! If you are in the market for a sofabed you have a lot of options. Most of them are compromised in one way or another. Not a great sofa, not a great bed - sometimes both. My advice would be to spend the money and get a great comfortable sofa, and a great comfortable bed. I have nothing but praise for the Bromley sofabeds - very happy we took the plunge. Also very well delivered, and assembled for us. Top notch.

On our visit to the showroom at first we thought it was just a place to try out the sofa beds without any personal service. After we had had looked round a while Mo came over and gave excellent advice and we bought a sofabed. Delivery was earlier than expected and Atlas delivery was perfect.
