Pleased I visited the lovely Hertford Showroom of DoC on BH Monday, to view the sturdy and well made sofa beds. Excellent reviews online but seeing the sofas first hand in the natural light was important to me. I was greeted by Lara who was so knowledgeable answering all my questions, super helpful and kind. I was able to select fabric samples to take away and also, as Lara suggested, use their large fabric sheets to lay over my choice sofa to help me decide and take photos. Very impressed with the quality, service and discount price, will be ordering online tomorrow.

Great product reasonably priced

I am delighted with my Exmouth Sofabed. I find it extremely comfortable and well designed. Quality of style & material is excellent. The manoeuvre of switching from sofa to bed is easy. Altogether excellent.

Lovely Sofa Bed - exactly what I dreamed of. Esmee and Jasmine were really helpful when I realised I needed help in planning late in the day for a through-the-window delivery. The guys from Atlas who managed the delivery were fast and efficient and kept me fully informed as to their schedule before arrival.

Nice showroom, helpful people with lots of advice, huge fabric examples that you can drape over the sofas to get a really good idea of how they will look in your home. Easy company to deal with. Good delivery and communication. And the best sofa bed in the world. The sofa is really comfortable. You’d never know it was a sofa bed. And the bed itself gives you a really good night’s sleep. Nice and big too. It opens up and closes in seconds. So well designed. We love it.

I ordered my sofa in January, to take advantage of the their January sale, the sofa took a little longer than normal to arrive due to a slight administrative error which was really my fault. The sofa is absolutely beautiful and really well made to my specifications, there was a slight water stain on the main seat, I imagine that this happened in transit, a guy cam to my house and eliminated the stain. I’m more than pleased with my sofa. Thank you DOC ❤️

Very smooth process from beginning to end. The staff at Ash Vale were very helpful and the lady in charge of our order kept us updated while the sofabed was in production. We haven't tried it as a bed yet, but it's a very comfortable sofa and looks great.

I have spent tens of thousands with this company. Last year I purchased an emperor bed which initially On putting it together it did feel wobbly, however once the super heavy mattress which I love was on top it seemed fine. After less than a year whilst lay in bed, the headboard wood split causing the bed to fall apart. Having a guarantee an independent company came out to review the damage and fix it. He told me the bed was far too big for the small screws and the headboard had very little support. It needed a support in the centre of the headboard and much better corner brackets. He ensured me that he would inform DoC exactly as he informed me. Darlings of Chelsea decided against his advice completely. They sent a different company to do the fix, and all that was done was to make good the damage. On leaving I was informed to take the bed completely apart if I ever need to move it. They said that the screws were totally inadequate for the bed and that it will fall apart again with small movement. Thousands spent, bed broke, correct fix advised, bodge carried out, waiting for it to happen again, won’t spend another penny with them.

The showroom staff were helpful with samples, showing me different sofas etc. My order was placed in store. I was kept informed by email when the delivery was scheduled. The sofas and fabric are absolutely stunning. I would highly recommend Darlings of Chelsea.

The service in store was good and very helpful. But then the delivery was delayed twice if not three times. Making the eventual delivery a month latter than first indicated.

Our new Payton 2 Seater Sofa Bed is even better than expected. Bought as an occasional guest bed we actually slept on it for a week whist waiting for our new bed to arrive. Would recommend getting the mattress upgrade - so comfortable. Looks great in our office. Delivery men were great, took shoes off, demonstrated open / close mechanism. A great buy.
