The course was comprehensive. My only issue was different designers were assigned to review your work. I found Inconsistencies in what they were saying. Some would give one kind of feedback and the next design reviewer would tell me something different. It was hard to know if I learned things correctly. Hope the school fixes this as I see it as a major drawback to online learning.

Online coursework is evaluated in this review. 1. Content is detailed and varies appropriately between written material, videos to watch and projects to complete. 2. Some of the resources (apps, stores and other add-ons) are out of date and some are non-existent. 3. The mentor and evaluation feedback is sparse and often unclear. The handwriting is illegible. 4. Overall, even though this is an online class, I expected a more personal experience and much better feedback. I would have liked to hear from my mentor every so often and I expected to get more thorough explanations of my grades and suggestions for improvement. The evaluators don’t seem to be invested.

I am enjoying the course and learning a lot. I would definitely recommend it to anyone interested in floral design.... however- I see many typos (especially in unit 3). Also- the videos are very hard to watch. I find myself drifting off or having to take a small break- the instructor has no energy, doesn’t smile, doesn’t seem happy to be teaching us. It would be more tolerable if the teacher/instructor was energetic, confident and motivated with a happy tone. It’s a very monotone, low energy vibe which I’m sure others would agree is very hard to follow along with. Other than that, the course and website are pretty decent and easy to navigate.
