Australia | 06 January 2025Called Geeks2U over the Xmas break. The operator was on to it immediately. We had a tech person the following day. Told us the problem, which was the hard drive was stuffed. Next day he (Muhammed) was back and took time, understanding and kindness to set up my 80 year old employer's computer. Would highley recommend the company and especially the tech.

The Geeks representative was outstanding and totally understanding of my lack of knowledge. The job was done efficiently, in a totally friendly manner, and I will have no hesitation in calling Geeks again for any tech issue.

Jacob was careful, methodical, answered questions and was knowledgeable about possible problems. The issue of an interrupted download turned out to be the key to the problem. A very competent Geek.

Australia | 18 December 2024Told Geeks2u I had an issue with gaming. Geeks2u got my credit card details before they would visit, which should have been a red flag. First technician couldn't solve the issue, after using the forum and chatting with fellow technician on his mobile phone. Geeks2u took $150 out of my credit card, I rang and complained. Geek2u solution was to send out a second geek. Second technician same as the first, the technician told me to get Geeks2u to send someone who knew something about gaming issues. WTF Geeks2u charged me another $150 So now they wanted me to spend another $150 for a third visit with no guarantee. I would have preferred they be honest and tell me they couldn't fix my problem, so I could have moved on to find someone who could. Trustpilot wanted me to be specific & honest, well I am.

Australia | 05 December 2024I'm becoming increasingly dissatisfied with Geeks2U. Twice in a row, I was sent a Windows expert rather than the Mac expert that I asked for. Now, still trying to get my problem fixed,(#1144372) and having scheduled a time on line, rather than risk further confusion over the phone, I receive a message requesting to reschedule. This arrived this morning, three hours before the scheduled time. When I followed up by phone I received a callback from the call centre in Sydney, and was told that Geeks2U did not have any Mac technicians who serviced my suburban location. Really?? The Geeks2U website says this about service in the Perth area: "Geeks2U – Your answer to “Is there a computer technician near me?” Geeks2U provides expert computer support throughout the Perth region and western Australia more broadly. Australia | 15 November 2024Hi. I have just had the worst experience of my life with this company. I have used them in the past with no issues but clearly they have changed. I booked for Thursday 14th November to get my computer fixed. I booked by phone and the lady was lovely. That’s where the good ended! The Tech was a no show after me making the effort to be there and organise my dogs and grandchildren who live here too and they never arrived. No one called so I called them. Showed no sympathy or professionalism at all. Yes, I was annoyed but I was not abusive, I simply wanted an explanation. She rang the tech and he said he never received the booking! She offered a rebook for today. I rebooked and again, tech did not show up! I called them again and they said she had been to m6 door and knocked just a few minutes prior and no one answered! I had my front door open, it’s a small not exit street, you can see everything. My dogs didn’t bark either. She then said the tech had just left so I asked if she could call and get her back and she weirdly said she could not contact her till 7pm tonight. My daughter heard the entire conversation and was appalled at how I was treated. She also told her no one came here. They blamed me! Our duplex is clearly numbered on the box and unit so I have no idea how we were missed. I requested them to call before they arrived too, so I could put my dogs out of the way. No call. Didn’t even try to call when she supposedly knocked on my door and no one answered - CALL!!! She had my number! Never got a single call and later, I got a cancellation of job email, that’s all! They took my credit card details too so I rang back to tell them not to charge me or I would report to my bank an unauthorised transaction. I now sit here writing this review still struggling to come to terms with WHY ME?? I have booked a new tech from a different company now and will NEVER use Geeks2U again! Maree.

And he gave great advice about the systems we had, as well as what possible future help we might need from Geeks2U. Plus he identified all the electrical cords we had and which machine they matched... priceless. 10/10!

They did not show Geeks2u updated the booking to 2:30-3:30pm They did not show Geeks 2 u (after I called) updated the booking to 7-8pm They did not show, and its after hours so I have nobody to call I spent 8 hours on a Saturday waiting for nothing, absolute waste of time. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. I would not recommend to anybody
