Getting the measurements right was a challenge. The spec sheet provided was not in line with my measurements. And the video didn’t help much because I followed the instructions but that didn’t help. Ultimately, since it’s a custom made jacket, the measurements are truly custom. So the process of getting the measurements wasn’t as easy as hoped. In the end, I am please with my jacket. The team was very responsive, helpful and accommodating.

So my boyfriend asked for this coat for xmas. I was skeptical about ordering because I had never heard of this company. Upon placing my order they were in immediate contact via email about sizing and perfect fit. Shipping was really fast. When I opened the package it was nicely wrapped in a protective pouch, that was cool lol. Like I've stated its a xmas gift so he hadn't tried it on yet but from what I can see its really great quality. Cant wait to see his reaction on xmas

I would give it a zero if i could. I ordered the black bomber jacket and gave them my EXACT measurements as per their website. What I received was about 2 sizes too small. That was bad enough. The quality of the garment was so low rent that you'd be lucky to sell it in a shop for $20. It was just so appalling and so cheap quality. I tried to return it express post($22 back in July)) to an address in Melbourne but it came back to me a few days later saying unknown address. I notified the company by email and they told me they needed my bank details to give me a refund for the postage. Never happened. 'Ive sent numerous emails requesting a refund but to no avail. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES DEAL WITH COMPANY. I AM WARNING YOU.

I was very impressed with the speed of the shipping process after my order was placed. I was similarly impressed with the attentiveness of Hawk and Bull's customer service staff in regards to a sizing issue that they had noticed on their end. I was so looking forward to getting my coat! I was so excited the day I received notification that my coat had arrived! I rushed home and excitedly opened the package containing my coat to find a beautiful black leather reproduction great coat worn by German Army officers in WWII. The coat was beautiful! Then, as I was unfolding it and unbuttoned it to try it on a button broke off. Well, everyone can overlook a defective button. So, I tried on my beautiful new coat. I was crushed! It barely fit! The sleeves were entirely too long and so tight around the biceps that I could barely move my arms. The coat size was so small that I could barely button it. I have never been so disappointed in all my life! I even ordered a size larger than I normally do, in accordance with guidance from their customer service and as stated in their sizing guide. When they contacted me in the ordering phase of my transaction I even asked if I should order another size larger and was assured that the size I had ordered would be more than large enough to accommodate even the bulkiest winter wear underneath the coat. Sadly, I was wearing a thin t-shirt when I tried on my coat for the first time, and it barely fit. I will be returning this item and asking for a refund due to poor craftsmanship and misrepresentation of sizing and fitting guidelines on the company's website. ***Update*** Since posting the original review, still listed above, Hawk and Bull have apologized profusely and have offered to exchange the coat I originally purchased for one of a larger size. I declined simply because my body type (short and fat) is one that is extremely hard to tailor to if it's not done in person by a professional, not by me doing the best I can at home. I chose to ask for a return instead. I mailed the coat I purchased back to Hawk and Bull and it only took about a week for the refund to show up in my bank account. I'm pleased that they were so quick to contact me about my problems with the coat I purchased, I applaud and commend them for stating they took stern action with various members of their staff for the defective button, I appreciate their willingness to replace the coat and to correct the sizing issue by sending me a larger one, and I'm quite happy that I received a refund in a timely manner. After saying all of that, I'm leaving this as a one star review (much to the dismay of Hawk and Bull, I'm sure) because I honestly feel that spotting/(not) ordering defective buttons shouldn't have been an issue with proper quality assurance/quality control measures in place, and I also feel that there is a significant discrepancy in their sizing guide...either that, or an inch in the U.S.A. is a different size than an inch in Pakistan. I'm not saying they're not a good company with a quality product, I'm just leaving a review about my own personal experience with Hawk and Bull. I read numerous good reviews of them, and their product, before making my purchase, so I'm fairly confident my experience was an exception rather than the rule. However, it did happen, and you have to take the good with the bad. So, here you go.

I ordered a jacket for both my husband and teenage son. I had no idea that they shipped all the way from Pakistan! But the shipping was actually really quick and the jackets are beautiful quality. I don't know how they fit yet because they are Christmas presents. But I can't wait for them to see them!

I received the Top Gun Jacket within a week of placing the order. The customer service was great and the people were cooperative in helping to choose the material and size. The packaging could have been better as the collar is slightly wrinkled.

The bane vest I ordered is amazing, at first I was sent medium but after a short time an XX small was sent out to me as a replacement, the postage was fast as was the communication and they kept me reassured the entire time that everything is ok, would highly recommend purchasing from them!

The packaging was poor my leather jacket was creased beyond belief. Inner lining is separating after a few wears the leather is stiff and not treated for 179 plus tax and shipping over 200 I'm upset. Rather a fair price is 90 Buyer beware.

My name is Conor Brown at the beginning of September2020 I saw an add from Hawk & Bull advertising a burgundy coat similar to the one worn by award winning actor Peter Capaldi on the television series Dr.Who, over the years I have been purchasing replica coats of the Doctor from an other company from Canada called Abby Shots, although highly priced , well worth it, however I missed their version when it came out due to illness and hoped to buy it someday, I saw this add from Hawk & Bull, and although it was not the Abby Shots version it was advertised to be like the coat worn by Peter Capaldi and it was at a reduced price of $179.00, I was excited, I had never heard of Hawk & Bull so I checked out there site and felt this is legit, read the reviews ect , after ordering the coat I got notification telling me that my order was being processed and a Fed Ex tracking number would follow and allow up to 5 business days to be sent out, so after 5 days I tracked my order and the site said label created more to follow, I checked again on day 8 and still the same response, I contacted H&B and they apologized for the delay and said they would get back to me with an explanation, after 10 business days I contacted them and asked again for an answer and promptly received another apology and said the package was being sent within 24 hours and would arrive by a certain date which it did, However, the burgundy Velvet coat which actually was sent out of Karachi Pakistan arrived rolled up in a FedEx bag, not flat but in a ball, I was horrified , only to the fact I spent $179.00 for a Velvet coat, and by the way all of the other coats I ever received from Abby Shots arrived in a box and special care was taken to make it look like it just came off the rack, This burgundy velvet coat was severely wrinkled, the lapels and collar bent and completely out of shape and the coat did not have any manufacturers labels in it , nothing . Shame on you Hawk & Bull seriously … you folks really need to know where your stuff is coming from, honestly I was so angry at myself for getting sucked into the $179.00 price tag because Abby Shots coats are much more expensive, so I did not contact you to tell you of the unsatisfactory experience I had until now that you have contacted me for a review, I brought the coat to my local Dry Cleaner to see if they could get all the wrinkles out and put the coat back into shape so one could where it as a normal coat, I'm still waiting for a call from the dry cleaners, and even they said " There is no manufactures labels in this coat" nothing. Shame on you Hawk &Bull.

The jacket was made of incredibly soft leather and exactly as specified. They answered my questions over email, although they were a little brusque.

I ordered a bombadier jacket and got a museum masterpiece! Great materials, workmanship, attention to details, photos EXACTLY matching the item, NO EVIDENCE OF CHEAP, "THIRD WORLD COUNTRY" PALTRY PAID WORKERS, and great shipping (except for Fedex loosing the original product)! Excellent goat's skin, identical to that used in my 45+ year old double strapped goatskin saddle briefcase. Double stitching on all seams that are located in stress areas. Size dimensions are spot on, and provide ample room for wearing a sweater underneath (really, not needed. Caution: order one size larger e.g. 3xl rather than a 2xl sleeves may be a bit longer than needed but can be folded up to show more fleece lining). AND THE TOUCH THAT REALLY, REALLY SHOWS CLASS: ALL BELT HOLES ARE REINFORCED WITH GROMETS - NO FRAYING OR TEARING OF LEATHER HERE!!! No "cheap" labor does this, does anyone have first hand knowledge of them doing so? Lining is fleece and will keep one "toasty" to perhaps -50 below. In the matter of correspondence: prompt, friendly, knowledgeable; no hassles whatsoever. The only regret is that I failed to console Hawk and Bull for - no fault of their own - the lost original item. They kept asking if they cloud do anything in addition to expediting a new item. Really! I told them that there is nothing further to be done ( in hindsight I should have asked for a Rolls Royce Phaeton - in black). To close, I highly, highly, highly recco Hawk and Bull to one and all WITHOUT RESERVATION.

The black leather jacket I ordered was shipped securely and arrived promptly. It fits well and matches the online description. I look forward to wearing it and hope that it proves to be eye-catching!

Ordered a jacket, but had to send it back for a bigger size. Customer service is top notch. They responded to my email in 10 mins. Sent me another jacket with no issues. Jacket is amazing, and good quality. I already have my eyes on another one

Products are simply outsourced to cheap sweatshops and don't even match images on the website. They are charging way too much for inferior clothing w sub-par assembly. Completely a scam run by MBAs to take from the US and give nothing back in return. Stay away like it's cancer.
