Craig is polite,does the haircut exactly how my son wants.

We had our first experience today taking my 2 year old son to craig’s barber shop. He was amazing from start to finish and so understanding with my son. We’ll definitely be back in the future and recommend him to anyone!😊

Well I would like to thank Craig today for cutting my sons hair , he’s nearly 4 (autistic) and today was the first time he has had his haircut in a salon and stayed pretty still to have it done ! I honestly thought he would run around and knock things over and get so upset / angry 😤 but he didn’t some how Craig managed to cut his hair while he was playing on the floor with a toy clock box it was quiet just him and Craig quite dark which I think helped Stanley some sensory lights , water. And some books he managed to do it quickly not a lot of brushing which he hates and safely and a lovely cut which I had in mind I’d asked my son if he wanted it long ish still and he did as it was quite long 👍🏼😊 We will back ! Thanks again really lovely to see him having a hair cut and thanks for your expertise knowledge skills in striving for equality.

Great barber

The thought of taking my son to the hairdressers has always filled me with dread as he hates it but today I went to Craig’s barbershop and I’ve never felt so relaxed and at ease. He was amazing with my son, so patient and wonderful! I can’t thank him enough!

My little lad, hates having his haircut. As soon as he walked into Craigs barbers was screaming to get out, and normally constantly screams/upset throughout having his haircut with different barbers. However first time with Craig and few minutes engaging with Craig my lad managed to settle, and he was happy for Craig to cut his hair no problem, And in the end wanted to stay and play, and gave Craig a Hi 5 and fist pump when leaving. Will be going again for his next haircut.

Craig is so patient and has worked wonders with cutting our son’s hair. From him pretty much refusing to go in and my husband having to restrain him, to my son now walking in on his own, climbing into the chair and choosing which cape he wears! An absolute diamond!

Craig is brilliant, he's so patient with my son who is always really excited to see him! He's always really quick and efficient even when my son is at him most wiggly.

I took my son who has additional needs to Craig and I couldn't believe how amazing he was with him. The way he took so much time at the start just to make him feel comfortable with touching his hair & then cutting it whilst he was running wild around the shop! I was so surprised and happy that we managed to get it cut so nicely! I can't thank Craig enough 😊

Craig is a great barber and all round good guy, I can get anxious at times and struggle socially but he makes you feel very welcome and is really easy to talk to , would recommend to anyone

Had my hair cut by Craig this week, and had an excellent experience. I'm Autistic and usually find hairdressers to be a very stressful and overwhelming experience, but Craig was very friendly, listened to what I wanted, and I'm really pleased with my new haircut! I went with a friend who is also Autistic, and he found it to be a very positive experience, as well. We will definitely be going back!

I can only describe Craig as an absolute magician. He has such a calm down to earth nature he made both myself and my son feel really at ease. His care and compassion is amazing. My little boy has Autism and hair cuts can be a nightmare. We didn't even get one tear, Craig was that good. We will definitely be back and I have already been singing his name to the rooftops in my local ASD community. Thank you so so much x

Craig was amazing with my son who’s not the biggest fan of having his hair cut, or keeping still. Simply the best! He was very reassuring, patient, and gave me few good tips on how to take proper care of my son’s hair. Thank you so much Craig!! We will definitely be back in 6 weeks!!

We travelled over an hour to visit Craig’s barber shop after seeing excellent reviews on Instagram. Craig was very patient and worked around my sons individual needs. My son is autistic and has a lot of sensory sensitivities which Craig worked around ensuring my boy was as comfortable as possible. Craig is very accommodating and friendly and the shop has a nice relaxed atmosphere which in turn kept my little lad relaxed in what is otherwise a stressful event for him. Thanks again and we’ll be back again for sure! :)

My son usually hates the sensation of having his hair cut. Craig was great with him and gave him a brilliant haircut without any of the usual fuss!

Craig was great with my little boy who hates his hair being cut, took the time to build up trust with him and is great with little ones! Loads of great sensory toys in the shop to keep little ones distracted! Highly recommend :)

Craig is brilliant with my 4 yr old grandson who is autistic. The patience this man takes is wonderful, ON the same level as my grandson playing talking to him etc..This is our second visit..the first one took nearly a hr and still only charged £12..this time it took around 10 mins..highly recommend this fella.

Noah (2years old) was very apprehensive, Craig instantly created a comfortable environment full of laughter and play. Come the end of the haircut, Noah wanted to stay. This is feedback of the highest calibre. The world needs more Craig’s. Thank you.

Hi. I've visited Craig's barbers on Friday with my son Tommy, who's 2.5 yrs old. He is not a big fan of having his hair cut or keeping still. Craig was so welcoming,calm and patient with Tommy and sat next to him on the floor whilst he was playing to cut his hair which Tommy allowed and was calm. Craig made our experience enjoyable and pleasant and will definitely be returning for another trim. Thank you Craig .
