We used Gibbs Removals to move house last week from an apartment with stair only access. Would highly recommend, very professional and friendly without any issues during the move at all.

Fantastic service throughout, from booking with Shelley to the team on the day. We moved in the pouring rain & the furniture covers used kept all our furniture dry. Would highly recommend this company to anyone wanting a stress free move.

Had a meeting booked for 12pm to get quotation. The representative of Gibbs Removals came round to the house slightly earlier, asked the lady to wait politely in the living room until I finished my meeting which over run by 3 minutes, the representative walked out of my house at 12.02pm. This demonstrates that Gibbs Removals are inpatient, rude and inflexible. I wont be using them ever and its maybe a warning that if I did have issues on my moving day, that Gibbs would be a nightmare to deal with and make the situation more stressful. I would not recommend. Further more I can see that you have responded 9 months later to my review, and you response is embarrassing and a complete fabrication of what happened. Unfortunately, that's arrogance for you...Don't use.

Excellent service!!! Shelley was able to help us out at very short notice after being let down by another company. She came and gave a quote and on the day the lads were amazing. They worked very hard to get all our bits into the vans and unpacked us the other end in no time. They made what could have been a stressful day an enjoyable move.

Gibbs moved us on the 13/4, at very short notice, fantastic service, and great price, the two lads worked non stop once they arrived, they were polite and and very accommodating throughout the move, we would recommend them and certainly use them again if required.

Gibbs removal helped us out at the last minute. The company we had booked let us down. The guys worked all day and late evening to get the job done. The guys where very helpful and nothing was to much trouble. Just make sure you have plenty of tea bags in. Would highly recommend Gibbs removal and will use them again in the future.

Excellent service. We needed property put into storage quickly. Gibbs were excellent and their team dealt with unusual circumstances in a professional and well humoured way.

Couldn’t recommend this company enough. The whole day went smoothly and without any stress, the team were quick to load the van and took a lot of care with the items. We were very impressed with how skillfully and safely they packed the van, they were clearly very experienced! When unloading they put the items wherever we asked and were always friendly and professional. We were very grateful to Shelley also who fit us in very last minute.

Robbie and team worked above and beyond what was expected of them. Everyone was tired and hungry after a long day but they didn't stop until all was done. Managed to accommodate my move in what was one of the busiest weeks of the year. Very pleased I chose them and a very competitive price too.

My Mum had recently moved in with me whilst we found her a suitable apartment. Usually my brother and I do all the packing, moving and hiring a van etc, however, on this occasion he couldn’t help out following a recent hernia operation so I had to arrange for a van with 2 men to help out. Shelley was very helpful and fortunately they had a space on Saturday 20/03. On the day 3 guys appeared which was brilliant and they got the job done in 2 hours. All 3 were friendly but professional and we were really pleased with their service. I would recommend them for any house move in future 😁

I had a shocking experience with this company and was let down at the 11th hour, with no empathy or understanding of the situation they left me in. I spoke to a Shelley and booked in a date for my house move. I explained I was a single mum moving on my own and that I needed a reliable company. She assured me they were, we agreed the move date and arranged for them come out one week prior to check how much needed moving and what size vehicle I would need. On the day, two hours before they were due, I received a generic text message letting me know they would not be make it and they were now booked up until April! I called them fraught as I was a week from the move date we had agreed. I had a really unapologetic response and was told they are a very busy company and that their verbal assurance of my booking wasnt valid despite them categorically confirming this at the time. I also explained that had they asked me to pay a deposit, I would have, but this was not discussed at the time of booking. All it would have taken was a phonecall to say they had a confirmed booking for the same day and would I still be going ahead or not. Shocking customer service just a horrible stressful experience. They must work on provisional dates all the time so when people exchange and these are confirmed it is basic customer service to call the person who has booked before booking in another job. Their attitude and complete lack of empathy for the situation they put me in shows the calibre and integrity of this company. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

Lee, Tony and Danny from Gibbs made a great job at making our move easy and stress free. They arrived on time, professionally dressed and friendly. They had our items removed from the house quickly and efficiently and packed in the vans like a game of Tetris! Nothing was a problem and they did it all with good humour. Unloading was swift too....all our furniture (and many, many boxes) were in our new house in no time and in the rooms we wanted them to be in - even the heavy items going to the third story! Shelley in the office was also great, always quick to answer my emails if I had any questions. I don’t intend on moving again for a very long time but wouldn’t hesitate to use Gibbs again.

Our experience with Gibbs Removals was excellent. Anthony and Dan were hard working and made moving day so much easier and less stressful. Nothing was too much trouble and both were easy to get on with and hard working. Would happily recommend them to others and use them again.

A professional reliable removal company. First time on a house move we have ever used a professional removal company and it made the whole upheaval of moving day a whole lot easier than trying to do it all yourself. All staff on the day were professional and polite, nothing was too much trouble, they efficiently emptied our old home and moved us into our home when we eventually got the key.

These guys were friendly yet professional and made the whole process look effortless! We had problems in the chain that meant after emptying our house on Friday, completion didn't happen until Monday. However, they were there for us; staying late, putting the house contents into storage and making sure we had everything we needed. Robbie and his team did a fantastic job moving my family and I this Christmas time. No job was too big or too small and everyone got stuck in keeping us informed throughout the day of their plans. They worked really hard all day which was a very long day and they were all good fun and made what was a very stressful experience fun even though they did take the ***** out of my Lego collection! Would highly recommend.

With it coming up to Christmas we were starting to get stressed about moving before the holidays. Our house sale was challenging, but Gibbs removal were fantastic. They understood our situation and provided constant communication on what our options were. Even when we delayed our completion date they completely understood and gave us options (which giving the time of year was fantastic). When it came to actually moving, they were brilliant. Very professional, on time and careful with our possessions. Not only did they get stuck in and start quickly on the removal, they did it with a smile on their face. Based on the stress of the days before, completing the sale and packing we were both extremely grateful for this. It made the day a lot more enjoyable and stress free.
