David Ford Tree Care are excellent. We've used them a couple of times for various jobs, the latest clearing out the back of our garden which was a big job with heavy brambles, holly, and shrubs. The efficiency and speed with which this was completely far outweighed our expectations and we are delighted with the result. I would highly recommend them and they are great value for money.

We asked Dave Ford to reduce the size of one of our large lime trees and they did exactly what we asked them. The tree looks healthier and suits its position much better. We were really pleased with the work carried out by the Dave Ford team and the friendliness of the team members. However it was a bit different trying to pay the bill! We tried paying by online banking twice and this appeared to go through, but apparently didn't. We left a message on their answerphone but no-one phoned back, so can only assume that there was a problem with their telephone line. We eventually paid by cheque.

Needed to have cut down a clump of well established Bay trees, that had destroyed a garden wall. By the time I checked the job, apart from the fact the trees were gone, you wouldn't have known anyone had been there, they did a great job of tidying up after themselves.

This is the third time I have used Dave Ford in the last 5 years, for large and smaller jobs, and they have always given an excellent service. This time re-pollarding a willow and reducing a hawthorn. Knowledgeable and efficient - Dave obviously really cares about trees - reliable and punctual, very pleasant, polite workers. And always at what I consider a very reasonable price.

I've had two jobs done recently (Acc. No. 2769) : 1. Cypress Hedge Trim (17392) 2. Clear Fallen Branch due to Storm. (17426) Both jobs were carried out quickly and efficiently and to a high standard. My only gripe is that the 2nd job only took 30 minutes which made the cost seem OTT, especially when compared to Job 1 which took 2 hours. I would have expected some feedback, to the effect that: The job was much smaller than anticipated and therefore the cost will reduce from the original quote. I have paid both invoices but feel that if there is to be a 'next time' a notional credit ought to be discussed.

The 3 person team listened effectively during the preliminary walk around of the tasks, which included felling a tall, dead tree fairly close to a building, fence, other plantings, etc. They worked conscientiously, safely and efficiently (even through a series of hail showers) to complete the tasks. Most importantly, they did a thorough clean-up of the various debris and prunings, which is not easy in a mature, domestic garden. I have used Dave Ford Tree Care for many years now and fully recommend them for their sound arboreal advice and workmanship.

Having had a tree fall on to our house in one of the recent storms Dave and the crew could not have been more helpful. Service was immediate with the tree removed next day, all insurance stuff sorted, no hassle for me. The team worked with such efficiency and made the whole process stress free. We would highly recommend Dave Ford Tree Care. His team did an excellent job of reducing our conifer hedge. They all worked extremely hard and made sure the area was left very tidy when finished. They were also competitive on price. We will certainly be very happy to have them back again.

After several no-shows from other individuals/companies etc, DFTC was recommended to me. From initial contact they were excellent in every respect. Had tall cypress hedge considerably reduced plus reduction of apple and pear tree and seasonal trim of a couple of shrubs. Excellent communication from the word go, courteous and respectful. Will certainly use them again if I need to.
