As a family, we want to express our sincere gratitude to Claire for all your help and guidance in bringing my Mother’s partner back to the UK to enable us to hold his funeral at home. At what was & remains a very difficult and extremely upsetting time for my Mother & our family, your attitude and ability to take control of the situation really took away a lot of the stress from us, and for this, we are very grateful. Our chosen funeral directors at home advised us that the people who brought Peter down from Manchester airport were very professional & courteous. Thank you to you & all your team. Kindest regards Caroline x

Review for Claire from Homeland International: We cannot express enough gratitude to Claire for her exceptional support during one of the most difficult times in our lives. From the moment we reached out to her for help with repatriating our loved one, she was nothing short of extraordinary—caring, thoughtful, and deeply compassionate in every interaction. Claire demonstrated an incredible ability to combine professionalism with genuine human kindness. She made what could have been an overwhelming and impersonal process feel manageable and, most importantly, deeply respectful. She was always available to answer any questions we had—no matter how small—and her patience and empathy provided us with much-needed comfort and reassurance. Her attention to detail and reliability were unparalleled; we always felt confident that everything was being handled with the utmost care. Claire went above and beyond to ensure that every step was as smooth as possible for us, taking on much of the burden and allowing us to focus on grieving and honoring our loved one. What truly stood out was Claire’s humanity—she treated us not as clients but as people in pain, and her words and actions reflected an understanding of the emotional weight of the situation. Her kindness and compassion will never be forgotten. We would wholeheartedly recommend Claire to anyone in need of her services. She is a rare gem who transforms a difficult and painful process into something handled with grace and dignity. Thank you, Claire, for being there for us when we needed it most. You made an immeasurable difference in our lives. We cannot even put into words how grateful we are for your hard work, compassion, and flexibility. You are nothing short of incredible and we feel blessed to have even come across you.

Thank you Homeland International and particularly Claire for your help at a difficult time. You showed professionalism and compassion in repatriating our relative from England to the Philippines. You provided good advice and kept us informed at every stage. We are particularly grateful that you were able to arrange every aspect of the repatriation including delivery to a funeral parlour over 150 miles from Manila.

We were in a situation that seemed insurmountable, but Homeland International handled everything for us. From France, with the language barrier, not being on site, we didn't know how to repatriate my aunt's ashes, and manage all the paperwork (with the embassy, the funeral directors, etc...) . they were a great help in bringing my aunt home.

From the point of engagement to the final confirmation of complete repatriation of Dad to Lagos, Nigeria; the service was professional and exceptional. Homeland international and affiliates (Angelcare Funeral Services, Halifax UK and TOS, Lagos-Nigeria) communicated every stage of preparation and travels with us and allowed us to focus on other process of burial for Dad. We were initially sceptical of service but once I spoke with Malcolm, we were reassured and I can definitely recommend their service to anyone looking to repatriate their loved one to Nigeria. I'm very pleased that with the help of homeland international, we were able to fulfil our Dad's wish and give him a befitting send off he deserves.

We contacted Claire Disbray at Homeland with a complicated request. Could our family member a non-UK resident (Iranian) who died in a second country (Austria) be transported to the UK for burial - and could this been done ASAP for a Muslim burial. Other providers simply said “No”, some didn’t even respond but Claire got back to us quickly and having researched the problem, she came up with a solution. Less than a week later and to the surprise of others in the trade, we had the funeral in the UK. Apart from her amazing logistical skills, Claire is one of the most compassionate and professional people we’ve ever dealt with.
