This is supposed to be a review of an order. It was great. But I want to mention that besides the Premier SS I also have a Premier DC. I want to add a vibrato bar to it. I emailed D' Angelico with a Q what would be best fit. A guy named James replied almost immediately from D'Angelico and gave me the info I needed. We traded several emails. Very fast and helpful. I told him the seriously it was the fastest I ever heard from a company via email.

I recently purchased a new Utica Mahogany to use as a travel guitar and for playing on the couch, front porch or on camping trips lying in the hammock. Far exceeded my expectations and the sound, finish, price and playability are all outstanding. Came with a perfect set up, and intonation above the 12th fret is amazingly accurate (usually an issue on such short scale guitars). I tried other small travel acoustics from Baby Taylor , GS Mini, Martin Jr D, Yamaha JR pre quarantine and they were either too tinny and thin sounding, or too large in dimensions for my needs. The Utica to me with solid top, bone nut and saddle, nitro finish is the best sounding, playing and feeling guitar and is half to a third the price of those others. This is a keeper for life. Played great right out of the box. Machine heads are good,stays in tune. Preamp and under saddle pickup sound better than I thought they would. It’s a lightweight, solid guitar and I play it everyday.

The website was easy to use and make a purchase. Delivery was smooth and the guitar picks even came in a velvet case with logo. I really like the 12 string acoustic even though I bought it through a vendor that has shut it's doors.

Update- I emailed D’Angelico and they quickly and completely replaced the items with larger sizes. Thank you! I absolutely love the design of the grateful dead hoody and long sleeve tee. Unfortunately, they don’t run a size small, as shown on the site, but more like 2 or even 3 sizes small. The large hoodie was probably size spec’d like a small at most. Please get the specs and description more accurate. These were a graduation present, which now are late as we will need to return them for larger sizes.
