We accepted a small refund for the scratches (we were desperate for a fridge freezer by the time it eventually came) and we were told a new shelf would be delivered ASAP but it never arrived. I have written numerous emails but I have been ignored. This is my second review about this and a manager from the store rang to apologise after the last review and promised the shelf would be delivered. Still no shelf and again my emails are ignored. If you want A grade products and good customer service - avoid this company because you will be disappointed

United Kingdom | 26 January 2025I purchased two new ex-display tumble dryers, but what was delivered was far from new – the equipment was clearly used. The seller initially denied this, but after I provided irrefutable photo evidence, he admitted it. At first, he apologized and acknowledged the mistake, admitting that I had been sent refurbished equipment (though, to be clear, the dryers were not even properly refurbished – both were dirty inside from intensive use). He offered to exchange them for new ones or provide financial compensation. However, after that initial acknowledgment, he went silent and stopped responding to all correspondence. This seller is completely untrustworthy, and my experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. Avoid this company like the plague – they are frauds.

United Kingdom | 02 December 2024UPDATE 2 - It's now been over 5 weeks since we made a return request and still no collection of the faulty tumble drier and of course no refund. Sporadic and vague responses to my many, many emails and their live chat is a joke. Now stuck with a faulty tumble drier and lost over £300. Ongoing claim via our credit card via Section 75. UPDATE 1 - faulty dryer, submitted a return request 1 day after delivery and all downhill from there! No response to request, limited response on live chat so now having to initiate Section 75 return via credit card. Very frustrating there's no phone number for Shop@Home. Will update again if they respond and honour their return policy.

United Kingdom | 21 August 2024Ordered a ex display cooker, was a little dubious as miced reviews, but all went smoothly from order to delivery, my only gripe was the tracking site isn't the best..Once I received my date and time slot the website didn't update and i couldn't access a live tracking. Cooker is in excellent condition and full working order, so overall a happy customer.

United Kingdom | 03 August 2024Sold 'ex display' fridge in accurately described, completely battered, that doesn't function, is faulty. Caused no end of stress trying to resolve. Left with no fridge for over a week until have had to get a new one from a different company. Impossible to speak to a person at The Shop At Home. Poor response. Not been provided with am update on replacement, and now refund and collection of faulty goods. Will be raising complaint to ombudsman. Avoid, not worth the 'so called cheap price'.

United Kingdom | 16 April 2024This company should review their policies as products are ill described and customer care is terrible you cannot speak to a person on the phone only through their online service and the results are not what you are told they are I waited 7 weeks before my problems were resolved. They state that the products they sell are ex display with small marks on the body of their fridge freezer but the one that was delivered to me looked like it had been dragged behind the truck that delivered it but when it was delivered the driver and his mate stated that they could not get it into the house which cost extra to do and left it outside I managed to. It through the door into my house with the help of my friend. I would never use this company again

Tried to cancel order, they then sent the product but no notice given for delivery date and not in when came. Tried again to cancel order but no response. Over 2 months from ordering I have not had the product or refund. So now holding my money and don't respond to any contact. Stay away from them at all costs. Not worth the hassle

United Kingdom | 26 February 2024Great customer service, the separate delivery company damaged our items and this company helped us offering a new item or a full refund and paid us for the damage done to our property even though was no fault of these, was all down the courier company. Lovely company to deal with, speedy reply’s and helped us the whole way. Was a shame they were hugely let down by the courier company but wasn’t this company’s fault at all.

United Kingdom | 14 January 2024I would give zero if I could. Their website promises delivery within 5-7 working days. Clearly their working week is much shorter than mine! I ordered an ex display dishwasher on 30th December 2023. Heard absolutely nothing other than initial confirmation of my order. Emailed them on 10th January and left a phone message after eventually finding a contact number asking someone to call me. Next thing I am allegedly getting a refund as they ‘have insufficient stock to fulfil your order’ AVOID AVOID AVOID

United Kingdom | 12 September 2023Same as another reviewer, I bought a Kenwood cooker from them and it was used. Not only that but the flame was burning orange, which the gas safe installer said showed it needed servicing. Shopathome said they service and check all their cookers before sale for safety. They also said they only sell new cookers that were damaged in transit (it's on their site) not used ones. They're liars and will ignore you when you realise. I got my money back from the bank as I paid by card, they collected the cooker, and have probably sold it to some other unfortunate. Make sure it isn't you.

United Kingdom | 02 August 2023I bought a kenwood gas cooker from them 5 weeks ago , it came wrapped in so much cling film it took me hrs to get it all.off ,the cooker was greasy ,there was screws missing on the main oven door And after 4 weeks the grill door fell off ,I emailed them and got no reply , steer clear of this company ,I have reported them to trading standards as they say all there items are a grade and have not been used , well where did the grease on the cooker come from as well as stale food in the grill pan

This people are the worst people I’ve ever dealt with all my life. They delivered a dirty looking gas cooker to me which I have to fight to be collecting back, once they manage to take it back after calling back and forth it was a nightmare getting my refund. Never going close to this people again.
