I found rug+rig fitness to be one of the best priced sellers of gym equipment online. I purchased a number of items from them and received free shipping to Central Qld. My gear arrived in a week from Melbourne. Outstanding service! The equipment I purchased is of good quality and a great addition to my home gym. I am very happy with my gear and would certainly purchase from again.

Horrific service to a damaged item Spent $800 on a set of adjustable dumbells. On of the racks arrived damaged from transit, making one of the dumbells unable to have weight adjusted. Sent photo to R&R, and they said were sending replacement rack. All good, i ditched bulky packaging as no room to store. Replacement rack arrives and it is completely the wrong rack, so still no working set of $800 dumbells. Now they advise cannot obtain the correct rack (well, they can, but cannot provide any eta). So they want me to return, with ME paying the shipping (which would be a lot, as its 70kg). They advised they would have paid if i had original packaging. As per australian consumer law, one is not required to keep original packaging for a warranty return of an item. I have made them aware of this, and their latest reply was they are happy for me to lodge a consumer affairs complaint and have the situation mediated. Unbelievable. So no i have to go through that hoop vs they pay return as they are meant to, refund me my money as i paid $800 to not have working equipment, take up any losses they can on their end with transit company. Instead, i am out $800, dont have working item i can use, and after waiting uselesly for them to send me the incorrect replacement rack, now have to lodge a case with consumer affairs to resolve. What a company. Avoid. Im sure they are great if there are no problems, but if it comes down to it, they are a fair weather friend and will screw you over to save them some $$ if they have to vs doing giving you your consumer law rights.

Little hesitant to buy such a big ticket item online. Team at Rug and Rig were so efficient in getting order to me. Even answered a question I had re assembly on NYD within minutes. Very impressed, and quality of products exceeded expectations. Looking forward to building on my home gym set up, using Rug and Rig products. Highly recommend!
