United Kingdom | 03 February 2021Was using their free DNS service with no issues and so felt safe ordering there pop email service so I could get my business started. for a week I was able to send emails but emails to me were not being received. Their staff eventually got back after a week with a cut and paste reply which was for a different problem entirely. after a could more days of trying to fix this issue when I should be working on ... work. I demanded a refund. They would rather refund then actually provide the service they advertise.

United States | 23 November 2020Poor customer service. They refuse to actually troubleshoot shoot issues and constantly point any problems at the customer-side, without facts. Avoid this at all costs!

Belgium | 23 October 2020Randomly billed our customer 25€ eventhough we've never even contacted them / heard from the until today. Scam, avoid them.

United Kingdom | 01 October 2020I bought a dynamic domain name from noip.com, and the set-up was relatively easy and, at least, worked. I then bought a RapidSSL certificate to secure my domain, and that's where all the problems began. In order to authenticate my domain, they needed to send an email to my domain's registered email address. They sent the email to the wrong address. When I pointed this out, they said they couldn't do anything about the address and referred my to DigiCert to get them to change the registered address. DigiCert told me that Noip – who had effectively washed their hands of my technical issue despite being the reseller – should have been doing this for me. Lots of emails to noip later, I gave up with their utterly hopeless customer support and asked DigiCert to sort the problem out for me, which they did. They issued the key and the certificate, so the site was validated. However, noip continued to refuse to accept this, and they are the only obstacle to getting this otherwise simple process completed. Noip have no idea. If you can get their service to work first off, then you'll be fine. If you can't, their customer support is a complete waste of space.

France | 24 May 2020I'm using a free NO-IP domain with my server at home. I had no problem of my account being disabled or anything like that. Yes, you need to "confirm" your hostname every 30 days, but that's okay IMO.

United Kingdom | 08 May 2020There DNS updates pretty well and can be useful they added support for ipv6 something that more and more people use including me except DUC doesn't support it? so now NO-IP is less useful and I may have find an alternative

United Kingdom | 20 February 2020Had issues from day 1. E-mailed them and got pathetic replies. Not very helpful at all. Best ditch them and go elsewhere.

Pakistan | 20 December 2019HAVE UPGRADED MY SERVICE LAST MONTH AND TODAY THEY DISABLED MY ACCOUNT WITHOUT NOTIFICATION. NO RESPONSE FROM THEIR SUPPORT. THEY ARE SCAMMERS, STAY AWAY FROM THEM.

Hong Kong | 19 December 2019Pretty shady. I paid to upgrade my account. After 1 month of usage they blocked my account and banned me from the system saying I had violated their terms of service. I asked why, and kept getting a robotic response from one of their reps, Eric Schaffer, who kept referring me to their abuse email address, but when I emailed that email address, he kept responding with the same cut and paste. Pretty sure it's some kind of scam.

United Kingdom | 27 February 2018On three different occasions I used this service and all times ransomware took over the machine within a week, not sure if they are selling information on to a third party or if their program is the virus but I switched to DYNU DNS and they're great, had no issues since. You also don't have to confirm your domain every month on DYNU.

United States | 04 January 2018This company used be great until they were bought out by another company last year. Since then the system would stop working every 30 days until you pay, without any warning. Very troublesome

United States | 18 December 2016I have used Noip for over two years and have never had a problem with any of my registered domains and they made it simple to modify any domain record I needed to, and those changes propagated incredibly fast. The real reason I started using them was for DDNS service. I could assign any device(router or computer) to a subdomain I create and if the device cant be configured to report dynamic IP to NOIP, then they have a sweet little utility to install on any host computer. If you have no registered domain on your account they have a huge list of domain purposed for DDNS. With the utility it is a small down and install and after you login with your account credentials and selected the host you want to update and then you are done. I have setup a couple dozen machines with the utility over the past two years and never had an issue with the utility not updating or stop running, it is always running and ready to announce when the dynamic public IP has changed. Usually within less than a minute the domain or sub domain resolves to the new dynamic IP. These guys make a great product that is easy to manage and that is why I do not mind the slightly higher price-tag on domains and services they provide, because the other company's and services I have tested and used for these type of services. Noip is simple to setup, manage, support is always there but you almost never need to use them because their site is easy to navigate and configure or mange you domains and dynamic domains as well. I can not say that about any of their competitors I have worked with. With this company you get what you pay for and probably even more.
