United States | 07 February 2024I purchased a puppy using their Nalupay umbrella of financing. These people financed $2,700 for 72 months. I've had the loan for a year and 20+ payments and the balance has not moved. When I make payments two days before "the new cycle" they say it goes to the principal and I still owe another payment. Then if you need to wait to make another payment they relentlessly call you after you should technically be ahead a payment. They provide no information saying that if you pay slightly outside of what they consider to be the cycle by a day that they will consider that a principle payment. They also don't tell you how predatory they are. I love my dog but will never do anything with Nalupay again. I want to lump sum this payment but I'm afraid they won't give me a payoff amount. Customer service is beyond rude. 1 star all day long. I have all of the payment info, and totally welcome someone to contact me and tell me why this is the way they operate. Everyone that I've spoken with has not wanted to take 2 seconds to really look at the account. If I see a response here, I will be monitoring and update/edit this post with a response. If I have to I will also post all my payment info. My account is current and I have nothing to hide. It seems like BHG/Nalupay does though. Update ...2/19/24 Someone did in fact reach out and was very nice. But everything I stated above is accurate. I am locked into a loan for 72 months and reviewing the account with an agent, confirmed I've paid over $1,100 on the loan and only around $200 went to principal. The loan balance started at $2500 and is now $2200. I am working to identify a balance transfer product that works for this loan. But I would strongly advise against a loan with them unless completely necessary.
