I regret to inform you about my extremely disappointing experience with Praia Club. Approximately two months ago, I made an advance payment of 2300 EUR as requested by Praia Club for their services. However, despite fulfilling their requirements, I have yet to receive any assistance or updates regarding my immigration process. Furthermore, after completing the payment, Praia Club inexplicably blocked me and ceased all communication. Despite numerous attempts to reach out to them, they have ignored my messages and failed to provide any explanation or resolution. In light of this experience, I will be initiating a dispute with my bank to seek a refund for the payment made to Praia Club. I urge others to exercise caution and avoid falling victim to similar fraudulent practices.

Having asked questions regarding who would be best to go to for help with my D7 & NHR application a number of previously satisfied customers recommended Praia Club, always a good sign! Shortly after I emailed Ellie at Praia Club plus two other companies to discuss my options, straight off the bat the speed of responsive from Ellie was exceptional with a Zoom meeting booked for a day or so ahead. As soon as I spoke with Ellie her air of assured knowledge & calm pragmatic approach was extremely impressive & reassuring, every question I had was answered immediately with an in-depth knowledge & additional information offered that I hadn't even thought about! My original plan had been to wait to speak with the other companies prior to making a decision on who to use however I felt so reassured after my chat with Ellie I went straight ahead & engaged with Praia Club. Needless to say as you can see from all the super positive reviews they leapt straight into action the very next morning & immediately secured my VFS appointment in record time. Despite being based there they certainly don't work on standard Portuguese time! Having attended my VFS appointment yesterday the clerk there commented on how very well prepared & organised my paperwork was. I commented that's because I've paid for the services of a professional company to assist me with it, he replied that most people do so but still turn up half cocked & end up getting sent away with a flea in their ear requiring additional documentation & often having to book a complete new appointment as they are getting stricter on none complete initial applications now. As a side note of the the other well known companies I had contacted, one took over three weeks to respond & the other I've still not heard back from.... In conclusion I would have absolutely no hesitation in highly recommending Praia Club, they have demystified the whole process and taken all the stress's out of what can be quite a daunting process for a first timer.

I researched a number of relocation services, to the point of short-listing and interviewing a few. Still not quite “feeling” any of them, a random scroll on FB bought me to a couple of comments written by Elizabeth to peoples questions. The no nonsense, forthright wording and clearly knowledgeable responses gave me the energy that had been draining fast, to reconsider my relocation to Portugal. The subsequent longish chat in private with E confirmed my initial thoughts, that this lady was not only knowledgeable, but an absolute dog with a bone when it comes to finding the right solution for each individual client. Totally my kind of person. Available most any time, any day of the week, E took the time and trouble to provide researched responses to my myriad of questions and concerns. Getting to know her partner, Marco, along the way, they make quite the formidable team, making my relocation as smooth and as surprisingly quick as possible. It was no easy task, being one of many long-term European immigrants who are victims of Brexit without voice or vote. My UK passport now worth diddly squat, the way E found to afford me a NIF and residency in Portugal, was with verifying my long term EU residency via other channels. Channels I am sure I would never have known about in a month of Sundays, and many more of investigations. Whilst other elements of my relocation I likely could have handled myself, it was very reassuring to be able to put them all under one roof, trusting them without a doubt into the very capable hands of Elizabeth, Marco and their carefully picked team of professionals for everything from property searches, to surveys, to purchase. Everything was made absolutely clear in laymen’s terms. I was under no illusion at any time that it would all be plain sailing, but it transpired that it was, thanks to the constant diligence of Elizabeth and Marco to be sure they were always one step ahead during every stage of my process, of which they kept me duly informed. I am not fresh off the boat. I have years of experience battling against some crazy bureaucracy and even more crazy bureaucrats. Seriously - hat’s off to Elizabeth and Marco for lightening the load and performing a marvellous, complete, relocation service.

I'm typically not a man of many words, but, on this occasion, I must make an exception. Elizabeth Sanches is the most amazing person I've never met in person. We've had numerous conversations though. We've been on an excursion, an adventure to fulfill my dream of moving to Portugal. My first visit to Portugal was in 1996 and from that time on, I knew I wanted, I needed to live here. Shortly after my fathers passing in April of 2022, and after going through the will and other fun family stuff, we began the process in earnest in 2023. After our decision to relocate to Portugal, we were really struggling to make progress or get reliable information. The support we had often took a week or two to even get a reply. We then discovered Praia Club and everything rapidly changed. Ellie and Marco have guided us through the visa process, making totally sure we had everything we needed before the vfs interview. All the information Ellie gave us was clear, precise and accurate. We also found it really difficult finding a suitable rental property - it was virtually impossible communicating with the landlords or agents and often got absolutely no response. Ellie and Marco took this challenge on and managed to secure us a property. They also advised against certain properties and suggested the contracts were not legal or appropriate. They arranged connection of the electricity and water and ordered us a pile of logs for the boiler We cannot praise their support enough. We feel that their work on our behalf has been money extremely well spent. A major feature is the responsiveness - when we write we often get an answer within minutes. I hired a " relocation Expert"😂😂😂😂 Who made my life a living hell by taking three months to open a bank account and on and on and on . When I was almost to my visa appointment date I still did not have all the documents for my visa appointment. I Found Ellie Rose at Praia. I can’t say enough great things about Praia Club. I started my journey to move to Portugal about a year ago. Praia Club held my hand every step of the way from I’m thinking I would like to move to I’m moving to Portugal! It started with them getting my NIF swiftly and without incident. The detailed project plan was extremely helpful. I don’t think I could have gotten my great apartment with out them. We did it all virtually with Ellie and Marco negotiating everything on my behalf from visiting the apartment to helping me turn on the lights, internet and going to ikea to pick up a bed.
