Kiran is teaching my 15 year old IGCSE science. Her lessons have instilled a new found confidence in the subject, due to her extremely relatable teaching style. Kiran is a brilliant tutor who is so friendly, positive, pragmatic and bright thinking. Since my son started lessons with Kiran his confidence has grown across the sciences and maths, his grades have increased and he has got his enjoyment back for these subjects! My son really enjoys the sessions and has benefitted enormously from Kiran’s patience, kindness and understanding. When my son has had difficulties understanding specific areas Kiran always takes the time to get to the bottom of what my son is struggling with and finds a way to successfully explain it! I have tried many other tutors in the past but Miss Van den Berg  has truly been the only one who has been patient, understanding and adaptive to my thinking and understanding process. She has allowed me to progress in my subjects due  to extensive knowledge as well as careful explanations on all of my stem studies and has always approached teaching with a student-friendly format, with multiple examples and levels of difficulty. What sets her apart from any others is her ability to apply the students knowledge to their questions and allow them to put their previous teachings into newer topics and queries as one would in an exam environment. If I would have to reccomend a tutor for other students as one myself, Miss Van den Berg would be my top choice!!

My daughter is in her GCSE year and Kiran has been tutoring her since September 2023, Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Before every session my daughter sends a list of topics she would like covered, Kiran is always well prepared and able to explain anything my daughter might find problematic, without fail she leaves every session with a better understanding of anything she struggled with. Kiran’s approach to teaching is commendable, every lesson is individual and fits around your child’s needs, Kiran goes out of her way to engage and understand what you and your child’s expectations are, feels like a safe pair of hands that will help guide you through homework, revision and exams.

Kiran has been tutoring me for 5 months now she has been an amazing tutor ! She has a very nice personality someone who you would feel comfortable around . Kiran explains things very well and helps a lot especially when I don't understand something . I look forward to my sessions with her . My sessions have helped me with my tests in school and to be a top student in class and I would thoroughly recommend her .

My daughter attended a 2 week , holiday intensive tutoring GCSE course in Maths , Chemistry , Physics and Biology The tutor was very thorough, and sent a detailed breakdown of all the science and maths modules prior to the course , allowing attendees had to highlight areas that required attention. This meant that during the course the tutor was able to cover areas of concern for students in the small groups, as well as a general interactive overview of the modules. My daughter found the course really helpful , and felt the tutors approach was friendly , very approachable with detailed knowledge of the GCSE syllabuses covered. The tutor also practised exam questions and exam techniques with attendees. Overall the course was excellent and I would highly recommend this tutoring service We plan to book regular tutoring sessions

I am currently preparing IGCSE and was struggling with maths and Kieran became my tutor, and now i am able to explain maths to my own classmates. Maths Challenges that seemed impossible to me to overcome became my regular practice questions. Very pleased with the outcome, highly recommend.

Kiran has been tutoring my daughter for six weeks and my daughter has grown hugely in confidence and ability - so much so that she got a 9 for the first time in her maths mock. It’s so nice to see my daughter’s confidence and smile and to see how much she gets from Kiran’s teaching- the difference is that she understand How to approach maths now. Kiran is a great maths tutor. My daughter says that she explains things extremely clearly. K has buuilt a great rapport with my daughter and has strived to understand her strengths and weaknnesses and work on them. She has tutored my daughter for 3 months. I highly recommend her.
