The director of the company Vladimir Suta deletes negative comments. But I will duplicate it again to be honest with you and you were not deceived like me and my family. Below you will find the continuation of our story from my wife Anna Chub. We are preparing for the trial of Vladimir Suta. First approach was totally nice and positive. Before you will not faced a reality. All starts when you are picking up the exact car. When you will visit an office to pick up your car what you were chasing and payed for. They can on easy give you another truck with an explanation - another person was booked it. They will tell you before your visit that you can pay a deposit in cash, but when you will be ready to start a planned vacation day - they will tell you that you can pay only a deposit via credit card. An explanation from office worker: deposit is needed to have a guarantee that possible fines for a trip will be seen later, so they need to have money to cover it with your deposit. An explanation from agent: I was told that I can pay in cash, because it was a conversation about low coster truck. - For lower cost car the company doesn’t care about fines for speed limit? Also nobody told that I need another - bigger deposit if I will choose more expensive car. You will not find any of this information in first agreement on the webite. You will face it only when you will try to take your chosen car. Another thing: The contract what I singed personally, including terms on website - strictly regulate charges for a clients: fuel, damage, making slots. When I gave a car back - employee of VISTA told me that I overused a limit for internet for a day trip. Sounds strange, because wifi had a password and nobody told me it to use. When I wrote it to an agent - he replied I overused a limit for KMs per day. More than 400 km - you should pay 0,33 eur per km (from the point of view on manager) and from the point of view of agent - you need to pay extra 0,25 eur per KM. You canot find any of this information in your contract when you will sign it or on the website when you are reading the policy. All screenshots with a chat of agent + contract I have saved to use in near future to contact with embassy, control buddies etc. Also in 15 days I will make a new feedback here to show you if they will make a payment back of my deposit. So if you want to ruin your planned day from the beginning on the stage what car you will take - you can use service of this company. Otherwise choose another company.

Our story continues below from Alex Chub. This is the most rude and terrible service! He writes reply comments, misleading users. On their website and in the contract it is stated that everything that is included in the rental price. But then they add fictitious categories and if you ask questions, you will pay even more, as happened with us. He said that on the website there is a column that every km after 400 is counted at 0.25, but we were counted at 0.30. Why? Just! We were forced to go to the police and upon learning about this, the director Vladimir Suta told us that he would do everything to keep the entire amount of the deposit from us and set us up by blaming the damage to the car on us. We returned the car on time, the manager inspected it, accepted it, signed our document that everything was ok. But Vladimir Suta billed us for 349 euros. Why? Because he didn’t like the fact that we were asking questions and didn’t agree with withholding fictitious amounts afterward. He was called at the police station and he promised to come within half an hour, but he walked for more than two hours and simply laughed at us. If you have problems with Vladimir Suta or his business VISTA rent car, go to the police - everyone already knows about him. I also have all the documents, including a statement to the police about the unlawful actions of Vladimir Suta, and he will not be able to write an untruthful answer to you again. I will keep you updated on how our situation will be resolved further, because now Vladimir Suta is facing trial. I hope you read my comment before choosing their services.

Don´t book a car by this company!!! Very unfriendly and not serviceminded at all, not treating their customers with any respect!! I made a reservation for a car, however our plans where changed and the day after the reservation I called the company and canceled the reservation. The lady I spoke with ensured me that the cancelation was ok, and that I would not be charged the cost for the rental, (it was already reserved on my bank account). One week later the amont was withdrawn from my bank account anyway. I called the company and I was told that they would not refund my money. According to the man I spoke with I had not fullfilled my responsibilities when I canceled the reservation. I should have made the cancelation by email, and that they had sent me an email to inform med about that. The problem is that their email ended up in my junk mail, and since I was informed that the cancelation was ok when I called them, I didn´t look out for any email, and therefore I didn´t check my junk mail. The man I spoke to when I called them just referred to that it was my responsibility to write them an email in order to cancel the reservation. I agree to that, and I understand that there could be a problem for them without a written comunication. BUT, my point here was that it was impossible for me to know that I should make a written cancelation since I wasn´t informed about that when I called them, nor was informed that they would send me an email, I was informed that the cancelation was done and ok. How was I supposed to know then that I should look out for an email, (that ended in my junk mail)? The man I spoke to said it wasn´t their concern. Ok, I can agree to that and I told him that, but I just wanted him to agree to that if a customer call them to make a cancelation, they should be informed, on the phone, that you also have to make a written cancelation. I realize that I will not get my money back, I just wanted the company to accept my point, that they can not receive a cancelation by phone and say that the cancelation is ok, without telling the customer that you will a recieve an email, (in the junk mail), telling you that you have to make a written cancelation, otherwise you have to pay for the rental. The man I spoke to did not listen to my point at all, just kept repeting that I had not fullfilled my responsibility with a written cancelation. My main point here is not that I have to pay for something I havn´t used, I can live with that, the point is that the man I spoke to could have said; "I see your point and I should inform the staff the importance of informing the customers that they have to make a written cencelation, a phonecall is not enough". And also he could have told me he was sorry, but they have to follow their policies. But, no excuses, just rudeness and total uninterest of listening to my point of wiev. So, my review is, beware of this company, they don´t have a clou about what customer service and friendly treatmant is about, they are just after your money and treat you as a stupid tourist.

Rented 3 cars with them but the day before they simply sent a message that they had no cars available. In the mean time we had already booked or ferry tickets which we had to cancel at a loss. They refused to cover our loss. Companies like Vista give Croatia a bad name as a country where tourists are ripped off all the time

Deutsch: Nie wieder! Hier sind Betrüger am Werk, die die „dummen Touristen“ abzocken wollen. Uns ist jemand ins parkende Auto gefahren. Der Täter wurde von der Polizei ermittelt, es gilt die gleiche Rechtslage wie in Deutschland: wird der Unfallverursacher gefunden, muss dessen Versicherung den Schaden begleichen. Eine sehr unfreundliche Mitarbeiterin war mit bei der Polizei. Auch ihr wurde mehrfach erklärt, dass der Verursacher den Schaden bezahlen muss und nicht wir. Trotzdem wurde die Selbstbeteiligung der Teilkaskoversicherung, die schon im Voraus auf unserem Konto geblockt wurde, abgebucht. Zudem sollten wir noch einen weiteren Tag der Miete bezahlen, da die Rückgabe durch den Polizeieinsatz später war, als vereinbart. Absolut unseriös und dabei noch unfreundlich und arrogant. Bloß die Finger von diesem Anbieter lassen, wenn man sich nicht nach dem Urlaub noch mit diesen leuten herumschlagen will! English: Never again! There are scammers at work who want to rip off the "stupid tourists". Someone drove us into the parked car. The perpetrator was determined by the police, it is the same legal situation as in Germany: if the accident causer is found, the insurance must pay the damage. A very unfriendly employee was with us at the police station in omis. She has also been repeatedly told by the police, that the polluter must pay the damage and not us. Nevertheless, the deductible of the part comprehensive insurance, which was already blocked in advance on our account, was deducted. In addition, we should pay another day of rent, since the return by the police was later than agreed. Absolutely frivolous and yet rude and arrogant. Just keep your hands on this provider, if you do not want to mess with these people after the holidays!
