About Planet Beauty

When Planet Beauty opened in sunny Newport Beach, California in 1992, we didn’t agree with the definition of a beauty retailer. Rows of little beauty counters crowded inside busy department stores surrounded by mazes of packed parking lots…mega-mall monotony. This was not our definition of beauty. So, we decided to create a curated beauty haven in convenient neighborhood locations. We provided professional beauty brands as well as trending products and innovative newcomers. We developed a structured educational program to ensure the best and the brightest beauty advisors in our stores. And we decided we were going to have our own definition of beauty. And for over 25 years, we’ve done just that. 37 locations and a successful website later, we deliver more than just the best in makeup, skincare, haircare, styling tools, bath and fragrance. We redefined what beauty means to us, and most importantly, to you.

Would give them 0 stars if I could. I purchased a Dr. Dennis LED face mask and before purchasing, I had made sure on the site and on the product listing page that I would be able to return the product if I need to. Nowhere on the product listing page did it say it was Final Sale. So I purchased it and even on my email confirmation, nothing was stated about it being Final Sale. So I go into a Planet Beauty store to return and they told me that they can’t return this product and that every in store customer would get a paper that says that but I told them I purchased it online and nowhere did it say Final Sale so the in-store sales associate told me to call/email corporate. I send an email to Planet Beauty about my situation for them to tell me the same thing. I went through all my emails and the papers that was in the box, that they claim states that it’s Final Sale.. again I don’t see ANYTHING about it being Final Sale. Terrible service and shady too. Will not be shopping on here ever again.

The website was easy to navigate. I appreciate the search by brand option. Thank you for the sale code as well - I love the Fresh brand facial cleanser and moisturizers, and they never go on sale. I absolutely LOVE Planet Beauty. I moved away from So. Cal a few years ago and PB is one of the things I miss the most!!! Thank you for shipping!

Tried to contact the company 3 times to let them know that I received confirmation for an ORDER INEVER PLACED No one ever got back to me until I said i would dispute the charge. Suddenly they are very concerned. Horrid customer service. They don’t listen, refused to believe what happened and couldn’t have been less helpful. I’ll happily pay full price elsewhere.

I would give 0 stars if I could. I ordered a blow dryer 2 and a half weeks ago. I never received a confirmation email, a tracking number, nothing. I tried to email over 3 times, and call to no one avail. Finally after numerous emails and phone calls, I go through to a woman who apologized endlessly telling me she was “going to contact me” and my blow dryer was out of stock so she would refund me. I had to remind her that I had to call HER to get this information. This is TERRIBLE SERVICE and I will never ever order from This company ever again. Gross.
