I was really pleased to find Radioworld following a web search. Great instantaneous communication and great service. Many thanks.

Purchased the GP-80 HF antenna for use in the home shack. While the item arrived the nxt day, the quality is not what you would expect from a £100 antenna. Could not even assemble the tubes as three of the jubilee clips would not tighten properly (stripped). Ther are very thin, with not enough thickness for the acme thread to pull the band tight. Not the best start to the experience. All other screws wer loose on the Base assembly, so tightened them, bit that is as far as the install got. I will have to visit the ironmongers in the morning, and get some better clips to get it clamped and secure before mounting. Hopefully that will get me going with the antenna. EDIT - Based on the response by the team, I assume it's a 'Bot' that populated the response, and nobody actually read it in the team or cares about feed back really 🤔. EDIT 2 - By 'heavy handed' do you mean that I tightened the flimsy clamps too much, or something more cryptic - confused. EDIT 3 - No need to supply alternative clips, the following day from delivery, I purchased various size clips to replace the ones supplied. For reference, the thin stainless ones supplied were open slotted which reduced the strength st the slot walls as there was hooped stress resistance at the slots. I replaced with blind slotted clips which retained the stress capability at the acme thread slots. Therefore now assembled in situ. Perhaps worth mentioning to the supplier to review the clip capability (especially the smaller sizes). Hope that helps.
