United Kingdom | 11 June 2023I was so hopeful when I signed up with Beacons Telecom. In the two years I have been with them I have never had a reliable conenction - It drops out many times per day; For example in a typical day I get dropped out of work Teams meetings, I cannot watch a single film without several drop outs, I cannot upload large work files without concern over another drop out. It's appalling. My neighbourhood were all encouraged to obtain a grant to get the high speed cabling installed, it was installed (badly according to one of the newer engineers) and now the company is being sold on. Very clever, and it leaves its customers bearing the brunt. I stopped complaining some time ago as I was assured that nobody else has this problem - it seems that they forget people talk to each other, and lots of people have this problem. When it works the speed is good - when it works. Having tried to relax and watch a one hour programme on BritBox this evening, four drop outs within the first forty minutes (meaning you have to reconnect and reload the programme each time) inspired me to leave this review.

United Kingdom | 08 April 2022Had 1 problem in 12 months of fibre broadband so far. Lost connection somehow, and they sent a member of staff to the house within a few hours to put it right. Monthly tariff excellent value for money, too. And none of this extra charge for line rental nonsense that the major providers have been fleecing from customers for decades. Would recommend.
