About Johnnie Walker RV

John Walker started Johnnie Walker RVs in Las Vegas with the help of his father in 1963. In business, he focused on one key philosophy: outstanding customer service. He firmly believed that a customer raving about an excellent RV Sales experience or RV Service experience to his or her family and friends, was better than any marketing dollar one could ever spend. The wheels began to turn, fifty years passed, two more generations sprouted out of the Walker family (soon to be three!), and today Johnnie Walker RVs stands as Nevada’s biggest and oldest RV Dealer. Currently, Johnnie Walker RV offers three locations in Las Vegas, with a huge selection of name brand inventory from travel trailers, fifth wheels, motorhomes, to toy haulers. Like that of our founder, our mission here at Johnnie Walker RV is to provide the absolute best RV Sales and RV Service experience possible to our customers.

HORRIBLE! They are an authorized Jayco dealer for motorhomes but refuse to do warranty work on our brand new Jayco. WHY? Because we didn't buy it from them! We gave them last look to provide a reasonable price before we bought it elsewhere and they would not go within a reasonable range of the price elsewhere. We bought our motorhome for well over $40k less than they had theirs listed. Now they are refusing to do warranty work and are an authorized dealer for Jayco. Bullies that try to threaten you into buying from them! Look elsewhere people -- you can get a MUCH BETTER deal! I'd give zero stars if I could. #jwrv Shame! #happycamperhunt NOT!

We have been Johnnie Walker RV customers for for greater than 12 years. In fact, we have only purchased our RV's from Johnnie Walker's; upgrading with each purchase. A large part of our confidence in the company has always been their service department ... until now. We have always used JW's for all of our scheduled maintenance as well as repairs and upgrades that have been needed. I said until now because of the amount of time it takes to get your RV in for repairs. I recently called to get an appointment for a needed repair and some preventative maintenance before this years hunting season. I was offered appointment dates ranging from 4 to 6 weeks out. I asked why so long considering this is not what I've been accustomed to over the years. They said that they are selling so many new units that their priority is getting those units prepped and out to their new customers. They also said this problem was compounded by the lack of qualified or experienced service technicians which they were trying to recruit or train. I called the manager, Ron, to express my frustration and asked why my loyalty wasn't being reciprocated or appreciated. Ron listened intently and added that even the manufactures were having difficulty with the increased demand for units and that their quality was suffering which required even more work from his overwhelmed maintenance staff. He took my information and assured me that he would get back with me ... that was over a week ago and nothing. So even tough its now time to replace our current toy hauler, my confidence in the product JW's is receiving and their inability to maintain their loyal base of customers will have me searching elsewhere. A relationship of over 12 years will end because they obviously have forgotten what got them successful.

This is the second trailer we bought from jwrv. Customer service is fantastic. Whether it be by phone or in person they get you to the person that can help you. I once called them from Lake Havasu with a trailer brake problem. They talked me through what had to be done (a brake controller adjustment).

Knowledgeable and friendly. Parts guys know what they are talking about. No overbearing salesmen--there to anwer any questions that do come across though. Enjoyable experience every day I come in!

My experience with Johnnie Walker is 5 star, because there is no 6 star. The purchase (new unit) was easy and fair with no pressure or promises that they didn't keep. After the first run, some minor problems, and a couple not so minor problems, came to light. The service manager, Danny, was ready at the appointed time, and had the unit until the parts could come in. The work they did on some minor cosmetic problems was outstanding. The other problems were solved and I could not be happier with their sales, and service departments. No reservations to recommend.

Christine was super, very informative, polite, knowledgeable regarding the various RV's we were asking about. The thing I liked most, no pressure.

Had some of the best customer service ever Christine walked us through the entire process. She let us know everything that was needed and always with a smile. The entire Johnnie Walker Team was also amazing up to signing the paper work and spending the night at the RV site to make sure we knew how our trailer worked. I have told many people when they are ready to purchase any kind of RV to go to Johnnie Walker and See Christine.

Bad bad experience do not go to this place and don't see Troy they tried to sell me an RV that was too heavy for my Chevy Avalanche I have a 05 Chevy Avalanche that is rated 5500 and they tried to sell me a coach that weighed 6 thousand 500 lb which was too heavy for my vehicle and I sent him a copy by text on my phone on the weight rating and he disregarded it and set the coach up anyways to be delivered and I was advised by my mechanic that that coach was way too heavy for my vehicle and would cause me serious problems so I told Troy this but he still planned on the delivery I would not never ever go there again and I don't advise anybody else they're just trying to make a sale disregarding what the customer wants so they kept part of my money I put down which I felt was wrong especially when I have all the information on text from him so seniors beware if you're reading this thank you for reading this Harold

We bought a used toy hauler for our wedding day and was told by the salesperson that they do a complete inspection from front to end. We found a leaking shower and a broken lounge chair that leans against the wall in the livingroom. We trully thought Jihnny Walker would fix our RV issues. But obviously here I am. And no care or help has even a thought. What a shame. We couldnt have picked a worse place to buy. And now we are STUCK with this. The service man informed us to contact the makers of the components. Wow! How are these people in business? ALERT! NO SERVICE AFTER THE SALE. Buyer beware.

What a great experience! From the moment we walked in the door to the morning after, pulling out of the yard with our new baby, was amazing! Every single employee was top notch! Respectful, charming, knowledgeable, witty and welcoming. This was our first RV purchase and the staff at JWRV made it as painless as possible and when it's time to "upgrade", Johnnie Walker will be our only choice! Thanks again Lil Walker, Darcie, Danny, Jose, Tom and Boozer for all the attention to detail and outstanding customer service! See you soon with the 69 Lincoln, The Currys

Drove from Idaho to Las Vegas in early January, the last 200 miles with no heat and no DC power (and thus no refrigerator, which was loaded with food). Have a 2003 Monaco Windsor PST40. I had tried to run the heat pumps off of the inverter and evidently melted a major switch. Doug of Johnny Walker gave us an 8 AM appointment for the next morning (it was nearly quitting time when we got there), and promptly diagnosed the problem and repaired all in only 1 hour. The cost was very reasonable and I was very pleased. Thank you, Doug and Johnny Walker RV Service department!

Well Dustin was the lucky winner when the Alexanders walked in just looking. We had the don't screw us speech ready to go. We also were waiting to see if he was going to show us product. Findlay has xray vision on our wallets. They wouldnt show us anything. Dustin was patient and funny and was our perfect fit. He spent three days with us. We are new to the rv game and he was especially listening to what my needs were. So if you have fired him already hire him back. If he still works with you give him a raise. I love my trailer. We finally went camping in Utah. Lost our tire cover on first trip but heard this common. Four days of fun. I would suggest you add comfortable mattresses at selling point.. Add $400 to the price. Worth it for the customer not to research a topper or new mattress. Dustin it is time to call your mother. Thanks JW you are the best Joy Alexander.

1. Remote operator did not work. 2. Slide adjusting bolt caused tire damage. 3. siding buckled. When I returned this for repair the remote still did not work and a new controller was ordered. The siding panel was also ordered. The repair parts for the slide and tire were ordered. The tire and slide repair parts took two weeks to arrive. The siding and controller for the remote took over three weeks to arrive. The controller was replaced. I left for a Summer trip. The next day as I was setting up, the remote is the only way some functions operate. The house controls for the slides and jacks do not work . The remote must be used. I have no control from the house switches for the Jacks, Awning and slides. Ten days ago my AC quit working. I called Johnny Walker Maint. I was given a number for Forest River and Dometic. I am in Oregon near Albany. I have called several repair and service personnel. Because of the Holiday I cannot get a new thermostat until next week. Hopefully the Thermostat is the problem. Three days ago my pantry door and support molding came off the wall. Thankfully it fell on me and not my wife. The whole support was secured with 3/4" finishing nails. I have since properly secured with 3" screws. I am in record breaking high temperatures in Northern Oregon.

We had been researching RV's and visited Johnnie Walker to look at their selection. We were promptly greeted by a pleasant young man, mid-20's named Ronnie. After we told Ronnie what we were looking for, he happily showed us a few models within our price range that met our criteria. He was extremely knowledgable and he had an easy, trust-worthy disposition. We ended up purchasing our Jayco RV with him and he worked hard for us. We have had a few minor issues that have needed to be repaired and the JW service team has also been tremendous. Would definitely recommend Ronnie and his team if you're looking to purchase an RV with a reputable company.

I bought a used RV from J.J. at Johnnie Walker RV. He took care of everything including a few warranty items which are not normally covered on a used RV. If I ever buy another RV they will be my first call regardless of where I live.

My fiance and I went into Johnnie Walker to just get an idea of what we might be interested in and what all the details would be of getting a trailer. We were set up with Matt. We told him what our ideas were and he showed us a couple of trailers and then we found THE ONE! We walked out that exact day with buying a trailer. We had excellent customer service, not only with Matt but by all the employees there. I would send anyone interested in looking at a trailer, to Johnnie Walker!
