I must say I was quiet impressed with the way Elephant Removals handled my move, they did a full packing service for me including dismantling and reassembling. I offered to help but to be honest I was getting in their way so all I had to do is put my feet up and let them get on with it. Firstly i dont understand how you can charge me over £1200 for an incomplete move. The potering staff left the job incomplete and took a ridicioulous amount of time to move dir to their disorgainisation. The sofas were not deassmbled before leaving the property.One sofa is now sitting in my corridoor as they refusrd yo dismantle it due to lack of energy. My son wardrobe was outside the property in thr communal area. My partner and I had to dismantle this and carry this into our home. 3 items were left at the vacating property .They refused to dismantle the dining cabinet. Remove the cooker ams washing machine. This resulted it us having to use another removal service on sunday to vacant these things costing an additional expenisive of £200.00 The porter left out of angry that my partner had to chase them down the corridor.They assmble one sofa incorectly and left the other one blocking the door which is a fire and saftey risk! I was told comments by the staff such as 'at least the items are in the property i can sort ot out in my own time' One porter even suggesting 'throwing our sofas away as they were too hard to move ' This is meant to be a proffesional service hence i chose this company. In the end the potering staff you hired for the job were unorgainised and not skilled to dismantle and reasamble. My sons cot was taken apart and not put together. Lastly i was not given any documention for my records and did not sign anything to say they has completed the job.So i was shocked when i spoke to the bank snd they informed me that over £1200 was attempted to be removed from my account.
