I needed help getting my computer back up and running facing a fantasy baseball draft deadline. Boy, I landed at just the right place: Discount Electronics / Round Rock. Employee Charles Hallford assured me he could have the work done within 2 hours. It was only an hour later that he called to say "mission accomplished." I picked it up, Charles made sure I was satisfied and didn't even charge me because I purchased it last summer at their store. All systems go, and I am so pleased. Charles and DE Round Rock is my new go-to outlet for computers and repairs.

Charles and his crew are great people. Always friendly, patient and knowledgeable. I highly recommend DE for anything computer related. They have lots of great deals. Everything from thermal paste to full blown systems. Also, they will recycle your old hardware at no cost.

I came in with a machine I bought from DE that needed repair. Tim Anderson helped me & I decided it was not cost-effective to repair it. Tim helped me find another machine that was an upgrade from what I had for about the same cost as repairs. I had it customized for my needs and Tim said it would take a couple of hours. It was done in 1 hour. My total time in the store for both visits was less than 15 minutes. The service rocked & my new machine is working perfectly. Definitely coming back for any computer needs.

Went into the Parmer Lane location for help with my computer purchase. Was assisted by Tim and he answered all my questions and was great at making sure I got what I needed to do my simple tasks. The price was right and to know I have a year warranty makes buying from them easier.

If these are the guys in Austin, they are tops and totally stand behind what they sell. I bought a Panasonic Tough Book and my wife got a big ol' HP laptop...had a wee bit of drama with toughbook and they made it right from jump street. Integrity is what they call it if I remember correctly. Bought at (former) store in far south Austin, store on Parmer made it right. I will be back.

Please, don't fall for this. The computers are not refurbished at all. I received a broken product and their return policy is herculean. It's a scam.

Ordered a used laptop from discountelectronics.com. It came with a broken shift key, so I sent it back for a replacement. I called to ask when a replacement would be shipped, and the rep said they would send it out that day since they had confirmation that I had shipped the broken laptop I had received. She also said she would email tracking info, which I never received. Called back a week later to find it still hadn't been shipped. The new rep said they don't cross-ship replacement laptops. They had received the broken laptop four days prior but were backlogged. I told him I wanted a refund, but apparently their policy is to only give store credit. Had I known that I would never have ordered anything from them, but now that I do, they will never see another order from me.

Discount electronics believe that irritating and torturing clients with badgering emails will eventually lead to profit. Yes, that's what I said. Ridiculous? No. You see,I am presently receiving several emails a day in a little game they like to play to spam me because I reported them for excessive email abuse. Sure, I can block them and settle the issue, but the more important point to understand, is the child like, imbecilic mind of an individual that would do such a chicken crap thing on a daily basis because he believes is is irritating the customer. What he has really achieved, is the loss of a customer, plus the wrath of the customer that, through word of mouth, and loss a future business, will induce. I thank them for this spam, please keep it up. I will also keep up my retaliation, and monetarily, I will cost them tens of thousands of dollars in revenue by exposing who and what they are... disgusting, unintelligent, vengeful looses, with no common sense. Would you risk your livelihood by purchasing anything from people like this who may be needed for service after the sale? Not a chance. Keep 'em coming boys, I like a good war. See you around.
