I was given initially given a set price, when the movers came I was then charged more per box. Not to mention my brand new television was broken and only compensated less than what it cost.

I gave 3 stars because of the delay of the shipment. We had told that the shipment of our belongings will take 4 to 7 business days, but in reality it took 15 business days. The company refunded some money for the delay of shipment. In overall, all our stuff was in a good condition . Nothing was lost or damaged. Service personnel was always polite.

These movers are great. The men were fast, courteous, helpful, and fun to deal with. They went above and beyond to help me arrange my packing boxes in the right rooms and even helped me set up my TV. I would recommend this company very highly and will use them again if the need arises. Fabulous company and service!

Booking process was amazing, I had Alex who were were in constant communication about dates etc. He was very flexible! The movers got to my old place on time and were fast. The only issues is my couch leg is wobbly and they left my tv on truck and I didn’t get it for over a week. The movers also complained about their tip because I had extra care

Felt more like swindlers than movers. I was over in my box count so I asked to take the larger boxes and they took the smaller ones instead which of course made it strenuous for me and exceed. They kept pressuring for extra tip if I wanted them to take the remainder or call the company. I also got charged extra for them to move the items to the truck that was literally across the street because they had to go through the cellar entrance. Not my fault they couldn't get closer parking which they were 20 mins late by the way. Charged extra to keep the blanket my TV was wrapped in. Charged extra to breathe. Maybe if they came on time might've gotten closer parking. I gave 3 stars because they were fast moving items downstairs and allowed me to keep the wardrobe boxes or maybe I paid for it with all the extra money they asked for??? If not for that it would be lower. I won't ever be using this service again.

Best moving experience to date, end to end! Moving is always stressful, but the crew at Zero Max made moving as painless and stress-free as can be! Last minute issues with my move-in date threw a BIG wrench into carefully laid plans - Alex was able to quickly come up with a scheduling plan that accommodated my needs. The moving team showed up right on time and were able to complete the job efficiently and with much care. Thank you team Zero Max!

Great price, great service! The truck showed up on time. The guys were fast but efficient. Friendly but professional. Look, a move is stressful (I'd only wish it on my worst enemy, haha) however, we could tell right away that the crew knew what they were doing and that allowed unto breath a bit and relax. Overall, they were very helpful with everything and we were very appreciative of their work. Also, during the move it turn out we had more than what was listed; the lead member of the crew was professional and courteous about it and were able to work it out quickly and fairly.

Kind, Efficient, and Patient. Highly recommend. I was nervous as it was my first time using movers but, they loaded my entire apartment in less than 20 minutes and waited while there was a mix-up withe super and keys

Damir, Rezo, and David were the movers assigned to help me move. I moved to different households to another state on the same day! They took good care of my belongings. I felt like they would have done the same with their own property. When we arrived to the final destination, they helped reassemble my furntiure and they also gave me suggestions on how to situate the furniture in my new home. I appreciate them more than they really know. ZeroMax, you did well to hire them. They deserve a nice 2020 end of year bonus.

ZeroMax movers made my move so much easier then I ever thought! I originally was looking at renting a uhaul and hiring a few people, but then someone told me to check out Zero Max. Same price at the end of the day and no hassles for me! They were very careful with my belongings and followed Covid safety procedures. If I ever move again, will definitely use them!

My significant other (a front line worker) and I are expecting. My boyfriend had to work and therefore could not assist me in packing and moving my things out of my NJ apartment to begin my move to Florida. I had called asking for a quote on a "1 bedroom, 1 living room apartment measuring 770sq.ft. from Raritan, NJ to a storage unit (being 10 minutes apart). I was told that it would be $560 flat fee for the move. I was asked if I had inventoried my items and what larger items I have that were being moved. I stated I had a king bed/2 box springs/ head board & bed frame; 1 tall boy dresser; 1 jewelry armoire; a sectional couch; 2 50" tv's; approx. 7 medium boxes. I was not asked anything else about any personal belongings. Fast forward to the moving date, the movers were on time. That I give a star for. When they finally did arrive, they arrived in a van! The main guy was seemingly kind but stated that I had more stuff than what was written on his list. I was told that I had a total of 10 boxes, not 7 so those could not be taken. I also had wrapped up in bags, my couch cushions and pillows for ease of moving the sectional. I was also told those super lightweight items could not be moved because they were not on the list. In addition to that, I had all my clothing on hangers and packed in garment bags. The moving company seemed to elude to literally wanting inventory of EVERY SINGLE ITEM. I was never asked for that. I am one person, who is pregnant, cannot lift heavy items and was directed by my doctor to take it easy. So why would I intentionally put the onus on myself to "move" any items when I specially hired a moving company to do exactly that. Moving on, I had one TV that I did inform the moving company of that I did not have a tv box for. I was told that could be accommodated but it would be extra. I obliged. When the mover brought in the "tv box" it was a SMALL regular box to pack items in. The box then had been broken down to attempt to cover the tv around all sides. That is absolutely absurd! I could have packed the tv myself and not had been charged the additional $20 to wrap a small box around my tv and call it packed. About a half an hour later, I got a phone call regarding my "extra stuff" stating that I pay twice the amount, now totaling $1,120. The person I spoke to stated I could pay the additional amount (which was doubled) to have another crew come to move "the extra items" being my pillows, clothes and remaining three boxes. At the end of the day, I had to do the remaining move myself. It took me the entire rest of the day and was honestly the most miserable moving experience I have ever experienced. I had no dolly, no help, and had to manage to be able to get all of my belongings out of the unit by 5pm that day to turn in my keys. At the end of the day, the communication between customer and company was horrible and I felt I was being taken advantage of and in my state. That being said, I do not recommend this company. But if you chose to hire, make sure you list EVERYTHING you own before committing to the move and make sure it is documented by the company and you personally sign off. Out of all the moves I have done in my lifetime, I have never been asked about personal or small items. This was my first experience of a company counting every single piece being picked up by a mover, big or small. Their response: I was told to Read my contract. There was never a contract provided first of all. Nothing I ever signed or executed. The correspondence or "contract" as they call it, was ONE email with bullet points. Hardly a contract being that I work in the legal field. The CO. blatantly lied as they did NOT make a second trip for me. ONE trip was made as I refused to pay an additional $560 for a few additional items (not double the items as stated). That also being said, no additional items were packed onto the VAN. Not one. As the mover stated to me, "sorry we could not accommodate packing anything else for you. As to the reply below from the movers... THERE WAS NEVER A CONTRACT PROVIDED. I am a lawyer and clearly know how to read as such. Your bullet point “email” was not a contract. And your so called sales rep, should have been more efficient, detailed and professional in asking questions specific to the move. Hence what they are hired to do. TO PROVIDE INFORMATION. Therefore, there would have been no miscommunication. I hope your future or potential interested clients read how unprofessional your response was. As you all can see... All I get was, READ YOUR CONTRACT. You just proved my point. Well done!
