The Sewing House offers a fantastic service that allows you to order up to 10 fabric samples with free delivery to get a real feel for the material before you buy. Comparing fabric online is difficult as screens can vary from one to another and often images can be of not adequate quality to base a decision from, so this was a very useful tool. The samples took approximately 3 days to arrive and were of a good size to place up against walls, sofas and beddings. Once I had decided on my fabric I placed an order for the beautiful Hailes in the Platinum colour. The 10 working day turnaround time and free delivery is yet another attractive benefit that makes this company stand out from the others. Expecting them to arrive shrink wrapped, my cushions arrived wrapped in a box almost as large as my 10 year old daughter! There was no compromise on packing, which again was very pleasing to see. Each cushion was beautifully and faultlessly sewn with care to ensure the pattern repeat was in the same position on each. I chose the self piped option for a real luxurious look and it did not disappoint! The chosen feather filling is of far better quality than existing cushions I own; which deflate to a resembled pancake as soon as your back hits them, once again confirming my choice of supplier was the correct one. Each cushion came with an attached fire safety tag and a zip along the edge to allow for cleaning. All in all, I am delighted with my purchase and would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone considering investing in decent cushions that will perform far better than shop bought ones, a delight to look at and so very comfortable.

Really impressed with this company. Shortly after my order was placed I was advised of the lead time and expected delivery date via email. During the wait I decided I would prefer a slightly smaller cushion so I emailed them on the weekend expecting someone might pick it up when they reopen on the Monday. However, I really helpful chap called Josh replied within the hour and made sure my cushions were made to the smaller size. Upon delivery the cushions were well wrapped and sealed and the quality of them are beyond beautiful. Very impressed so have ordered again. I usually purchase such items from John Lewis but will be coming here in future as my first point of call.
