I've been playing Try Tag Rugby in the South East London leagues for a while now, and I absolutely love it! The London Bridge- Bermondsey, and Southwark leagues have been fantastic, mixing competitiveness and social spirit. A huge shoutout to James Price, who is hands down the best organiser. He makes every player and team feel valued, always takes the time to listen, and genuinely care. He knows everyone by name, checks in with each player, and creates a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere. We are lucky to have him in our league! I also really appreciate the efforts to support and coach women in the sport, especially the recent initiative in Kennington Park. We had fantastic coaches that made every session very helpful to build on skills and confidence. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun, inclusive, and well-run league!

Tag rugby is such a fun way to be active and meet new people - highly recommend! Shout out to our Bermondsey league organiser, James, who has done a phenomenal job of building a sense of community and fun. He is inclusive of players of all levels and takes the time to get to know everyone. His enthusiasm is infectious and keeps us coming back!

James Price does a great job of organising the league, while also encouraging players to better learn the game, and socialise together.

Really enjoy playing! James is our co-ordinator, he is great- he is always around, he is really friendly and chats to us all, gives us tips and generally really contributes to a positive, energetic atmosphere!

I have been playing tag rugby with TTR for 3 years now and absolutely love it. Great range of locations, socials, lovely people to play with and the refs are fair. Great sport for people who want to get into a team sport without much experience !! I definitely would’ve had 0 friends in London had I not joined a league with TTR. I have made friends for life through tag. Big shoutout to James P for being a fabulous venue supervisor. He secured our league free chips from the pub nearby and deals on drinks for players of the match. He is also super helpful when you are a few players short in helping you get ringers. He is always smiling and so friendly, I love turning up and seeing him there !!

The experience with the clubs has been fantastic, friendly people that run fun games. Always a great release from work, the devs are set correctly for teams. The reps, always fun to see

I started tag rugby last year and it has become incredibly importantly to me for a number of reasons. Along the way I’ve met some great people and have had a lot of fun. If you live in the SE London area and thinking about joining a league, I would highly recommend the Bermondsey (winter) and Canada Water (summer) leagues. James Price has done a fantastic job with these leagues and I cannot praise him enough. James has taken the time to get to know every player on a personal level and is incredibly approachable. I really credit him for my fantastic tag experience.

I play in the league in Bermondsey on a Thursday evening. It’s a great chance to socialise whilst getting a run around, and everyone is super friendly. Our league organiser James Price does a fantastic job making sure everything runs like clockwork

I've played tag rugby and other social sports for nearly 10 years and TTR is definitely the best organised and most enjoyable one I've taken part in. The players are good fun, the referees take it seriously and the organisers, particularly or current one James, create a great atmosphere. Would definitely recommend getting involved.

Thoroughly enjoying playing in the Chiswick league. I’ve played now for about four seasons (two years). The setup is always great and James, Steve and Aaron always bring a good vibe to the games and make it a really social league. Cheers all!

A fantastic social activity for players of all abilities, made even better by the organiser James Price who has been our league manager since I joined over a year ago.

TTR has been such a highlight of my last two years and the organisation by James Price of the Bermondsey and Southwark Park leagues has been a core part of that. He brings so much passion and care to the community and teams he builds there and makes it such an enjoyable experience. I’ve loved the level of professionalism of him and all the referees and organisers in the leagues and the tournaments that get organised across the year and would thoroughly recommend it to other beginner or experienced players.

First rate company that prioritises enjoyment of an exciting growing sport that I’ve played now for many years (since 2011). Their representative organisers James Price & Paul Evitt are my two favourites because as both players & staff - they go the extra mile to make things work well!

James has been so amazing with our group in Peckham, training up novices from scratch, hearing us out, reiterating the rules, rocking up at practice sessions, and all with a calm and professional demeanour. Love rugby, but love James more (only just)

Tag rugby is such a great way to socialise and keep/get fit. I play the thurs London Bridge league and hands down it’s the most fun and social, it’s due to the venue manager James Price who encourages us not just on the pitch but emphasise the social aspect and it’s about having fun . I have made some great friends and had great experiences.

The game is great! It's essentially low stakes rugby with a mix of people that used to play full contact and individuals who have never played the game before. The levelling out becomes an entertaining run-around on weekdays and the occasional tournament a few times per year. Having an organisation that is focused on putting events together and furthering the sport makes things move forward. Convenience naturally plays a role and finding the right league is crucial. This is where, in my view, the biggest differences come up. The league organiser is a fundamental piece of the puzzle. They are the heart and soul of it all, incentivising everyone to come together and have fun. I play in two leagues and the organiser of my Thursday one, James, is the reason I keep coming back. He's organised, passionate, interested and it really shows. End of season celebratory events are practically standing room only!

Great sport. Great for those who still want competitive sports but may not be able to play contact rugby anymore. Very well organised league with James being very helpful with finding ringers or finding people teams to play in. All round, best league I've played in.
