A request to delay the balancing payment was met with the following; As a British ex-pat I am embarrassed at the UK attitudes and actions and given their desire to flock to beaches, queue 3 hours for McDonalds, IKEA and even now still be in doubt of the important of wearing face masks in public - to reduce the risk of asymptotic persons spreading the virus - It is highly likely that the UK will indeed go into lockdown - but hopefully the government will continue to allow everyone to stay at home and still receive 80% of salary. We have throughout Covid remained open and responded to all our clients and continue to do so - we have been operating since 2003 and yes we might be a small business employing 35 staff in the Uk and Portugal but at least we have stayed open and not relied on UK govt handouts. Our owner has declined your proposal and balance is due immediately or we will under the terms of the agreement cancel the booking with loss of deposit. Avoid this company at all costs. I lost my deposit. Clearly the only thing The author needs to be embarrassed about are his business practices, his spelling and his grammar.
