His work is meticulous and both pianos he did (old Bechstein grand and Bechstein Upright) sounded clear and sonorous when he had finished the tuning. He picked up several problems on the way that a top tuner in the profession had missed. Not only was his ear very accurate but his fixes of mechanical problems were neatly and done to new specs. Having only started out on his own company in the last two years he is aware that he has things to learn and he does not hesitate to consult with senior colleagues if he feels the need. Charges are very reasonable and he keeps to his quotes. I am certainly going to use him for the family pianos in the London area in the future!
