United Kingdom | 06 December 2024Worst customer service I have ever received, all their reviews on auto trader are fake! Avoid at all costs. Told me to only pay cash and when I told them I can only bank transfer they said get out now you’re wasting my time. I travelled from Birmingham to view a Jaguar XF and the service was non existent. The building was disgusting and was like no one was even there. Something fishy with this company will avoid at all costs!!!

United Kingdom | 22 October 2024We’ve had the car from blackline for over a year now - so this isn’t a recent purchase. However seeing all the recent reviews I’m astounded they are still doing so bad… or even trading! I wish we’d of researched the place before buying from them. We brought the car in aug 2023 and within a few weeks we needed new discs and pads. They wasn’t very helpful at all when in conversation but after I wrote a bad google review they soon changed their tune and offered to pay back £200 for the costs of the discs and pads… advising me to remove my bad review. So I did! Unbelievable. I can’t fathom the fact they’re selling high end cars with diabolical after sales and operating the business from what can only be compared with a jail cell. I hope this helps people :)

United Kingdom | 11 October 2024Be very carful with this company if you are an inexperienced seller or buyer, I traded my car as part exchange in dec 23 to blackline motors paid for delivery and collection of previous vehicle. The young man who delivered and collected the vehicles was or said he didn’t know anything about how the v5 works, neither did I at this time. As a result he took the v5 in its entirety and since the vehicle has been sold and I have been receiving parking and speeding tickets with no contact from the company also the new car I bought suffered a catastrophic engine failure blackline said they would cover the cost for repairs and I never heard a thing back nor did my local garage who where to carry out the work. The company is a shambles and don’t seem to have any clue what they are doing so now I’m left with no working vehicle and someone else’s fines. Steer well clear would be my advice!

United Kingdom | 06 October 2024Abysmal, they take you up to a tiny room in a derelict office block, windows are all smashed, had an appointment but no one seemed to know what we were there for. Did a 2 hour round trip to go and look at a car, they took me to it and said “sorry you can’t drive it, it doesn’t start, but if you put a deposit down today we can try fix it” yeah right ! haha. They didn't think to mention this before I came to look at it. Awful service in a very dodgy building, stay well away!

United Kingdom | 05 September 2024I was sold a car that broke down within 4 weeks of purchase. Consumer advise have confirmed that blackline motors should repair the vehicle or give me my money back. Despite phone calls and emails they failed to respond. I am now going to take further action as the vehicle they sold me is not drivable and isn't fit for purpose. I may have to take this to the financial ombudsman or the small claims court.

United Kingdom | 05 August 2024I had the same experience as kris. Inspector turned up and plugged the car in bringing up a list of faults I’d already had fixed by Mercedes. Then said the gearbox was knackered and lowballed me by knocking 4K off the motorway sold price. Haggled for 2 hours, I refused the sale and parked the car up then they agreed somewhere near the asking price. The car miraculously repaired itself and was listed the next day for top price. Can’t imagine how many people have been ripped off by doing this. Typical dealership scheme. Luckily I know cars and could tell it was BS.

United Kingdom | 28 July 2024AVOID at all costs. Sold our vehicle via Motorway, they turned up, inspected vehicle drove it and then tried to tell us that the car needed £3000 worth of work to rectify a fault they diagnosed ….. little did they know my trade. Once I’d informed them they back tracked and tried to pick out other faults all made up. Absolute joke of a company do not use these clowns. Try and rip you off after purchasing a vehicle on a reputable company like motorway. Try and make things up thinking you don’t know anything about cars etc. Fools !!
