I have used Nimbus Hosting for many years. When I had a business I would use them to host a server for me, but even after I closed the business, I continued to have my domain with them. This is for one reason - their service is top class. You get to talk to a real support person within their company who really knows what they're talking about. I have never once had an issue that could not be resolved in a single phone call and it's great to be talking to someone locally. I can't recommend this company enough.

I had been with Nimbus for 10 years and over and had a pretty decent service but over the last couple of years I have been pressured to move to their own system away from Plesk which I have used for very long time and am happy with. After taking payment for my last quarterly invoice, All of a sudden my account was deleted without notice, it took a number of days while I tried to get my account and sites reinstated, Nimbus insisted that they had sent me an email to tell me that the account will be suspended, I checked all my logs and could not find any such email, they could not provide me a log from their side to confirm sending me the email. Anyway I got my account back after 2 days and told them that as I had prepaid a quarter in advance I will move my sites before the expiry of the term which was 25th Nov 2022. I move all of my sites but one has a large database which was copied but I was having problems importing into the new host, so I tried to login to my account on the 24th to check some data against the backup and found my account has been deleted again! a day before the expiry, After a few hours of contacting support I was told that the account was deleted because it will come up for renewal on 25th, they can't seen to add up as from my calculations the renewal would be 24/11/2022 23:59 Support copied the database for me and I was able to copy it down for manual verification, it took me a couple of hours to do something that would have take a few minutes. Bottom line is Nimbus does not care about customers unless they treat large agencies different to small clients, I would not recommend them at all. Customer service is poor, support is slow, give them a miss. I have moved to 20i and have been very pleased with their support and costs.

After several years of good, dependable service from Nimbus, unfortunately everything has taken a nosedive over the last 6 months- in terms of customer service (perhaps because of unhappy personnel and high turnover of staff) and server availability. The last straw has been their recent ultimatum to the effect that they are forcibly moving all their customers off Plesk onto a new "bespoke" system which they've developed in house (which immediately rings alarm bells as it isn't something that can be supported, looked after or used anywhere else). When I spoke with one of their sales people she couldn't deny that we might be charged for the migration of our websites! Not only that, but they are further saying that they will not host customer email. As many of our clients have both website and email with us, that has meant we are being left high and dry. We cannot reasonably tell our clients, who we look after 100%, that we'll host their website for them but they'll have to figure out something else for their email hosting. This is a ridiculous position to be placed in, and we are now having to spend a huge amount of hours, at great cost, moving our clients away to another host. It's sad to see what was once a good, dependable host become so terrible.

As an agency owner I worked with Nimbus for nearly a decade and they were fantastic for us. We had several cloud packages with them (mostly Windows, hosting Umbraco websites). Downtime is extremely rare, and all issues raised to support are dealt with super fast. Other hosting companies brush you aside with copy-and-pasted responses, but Nimbus have not forgotten the importance of the human touch when running a business. Many thanks to Tim and the team for your many years of excellent work.

I have seen as much wordpress intrusion attacks from an ipv6 space belonging to nimbushosting than digitalocean!!! I've contacted nimbushosting via their abuse email more than 5 times with wordpress intrusion attacks but they are never responded to. Will be requesting their asn be blocked for the internet's safety.

Superb hosting. Excellent customer service, nothing is too much trouble for them. Dashboard for the hosting is fantastic and site speeds are top notch. We will be migrating all of our websites to Nimbus!

I've been with Nimbus since August 2011. They're a truly awesome company - never have any issues with my server and if I ever make a mistake, they're there right away to help. I've been genuinely thrilled to see them grow so much. Keep going and try and keep the personal touch as you take over the hosting world!

I've been running Magento on their storm servers for over a year, their support is great, and there is a clear drive for improvement on already fantastic support and service. I'm very satisfied with their hosting for Magento and Joomla.

I'm really happy with Nimbus for hosting my WordPress sites. Having dealt with several hosting providers over the years I can honestly say they are one of only a handful I would recommend. If you're looking to move away from cPanel then you'll love their Storm platform. It's easy to manage and to understand. I moved my own website across from Flywheel after no end of DNS issues and it's been great. Changes are effective immediately! The support has been great from day one and the performance has been outstanding. I plan to remain a happy customer for many years to come.

We are a tiny charity who have been with Nimbus for years. Up until this week we have naively been happy with the service. This changed when we realised we have been overpaying since March 2018. Without going into detail (it’s complicated) please ensure that you ask Nimbus to look into your account and confirm all fees are 100% necessary. We cancelled some of our services to save money in March 2018 but were not informed that others on our account were also unnecessary. Given the subject matter of our conversations, this was unbelievable. With no IT department we have to rely on the good will of the companies we deal with. Nimbus have confirmed they will change their practices going forward but did not offer a penny of compensation to the charity. We did not expect this from an organisation who, until now, gave the impression that good customer service was a core objective.

Been with these guys for a while now. I generally don't bother with reviews because I am lazy! That said Ninbus Hosting deserve my review. Nothing is to much trouble for them. They are always helpful and knowledgeable. I have been using various hosting providers for the best part of 15 years and I can honestly say Ninbus are the best!! Thanks guys.
