We can absolutely recommend Driven Tutors for their 11+ intensive courses. Our child benefited enormously from the work he did in the intensive 11+ tuition courses during the summer, which we firmly believe enabled him to pass both the 11+ and subsequent entrance exam for our local grammar schools. Our child grew in confidence after each session, which he did find tough, but the daily maths and English tests and tuition sessions provided him with the tools he needed. The feedback from the tutors was encouraging, positive and realistic about our child and his learning outcomes that week, giving him areas of improvement to work on for the next sessions. The standard of the daily tests was challenging, giving the children high expectations to work towards but providing them with support when they felt a little lost in the process. We are delighted that our child was able to apply to all the grammar schools in our borough and has been offered a place at one of these schools, which he will be taking up in September. My sons experience with accel tuition has been great. The teachers are kind and knowledgeable, always searching for a way to improve his skills and problem solving. They are very good at spotting out places where he’ll need that extra help and covering the content needed in full depth. Our experience with Driven Tutors has been fantastic. The tutors are kind, patient and approachable. The teaching format and style stretches the children without putting them under unnecessary pressure. The teacher's engagement with the children was joyful and impressive, transforming my daughter who often shows reluctance with English (though a very competent reader) into a girl who was fully engaged in the two-hour group lesson. My daughter's beaming smile and energy after the lesson was a very pleasant surprise and the words "that was the best English lesson EVER!" was an an even greater surprise. My daughter continued to speak enthusiastically about her lesson the following morning getting ready for school making comments about how she thinks she is getting better at her SPAG! What makes Driven tutors unique is the extra one to one feedback, additional help, structure of the subjects and flexibility they offer. My daughter enjoyed the classes online, the explanation and the detailed feedback I received from each subject really helped enable me to understand where she is at. My daughter had 3 separate sessions and we were very impressed with the quality of tutorials. After each session was a test and after all the sessions were completed we had a very constructive feedback from the tutor and that really helped to identify our strengths and weakness and the areas that we need to work more.
