United Kingdom | 04 November 2024I booked a Premium Room via Dayuse about 10 days in advance. I have received a couple of emails in the run up to the day. I had a busy day scheduled with several interviews and meetings. Upon arrival I have discovered I was given the small, standard room, not suitable for my needs because this is what Dayuse apparently sent to the hotel. No premium rooms were available. I was forced to cancel everything and reschedule. I have already paid at the reception (hopefully the hotel will refund me as I did not use the room), lost earnings for that day and had to plead with everyone to reschedule. Dayuse customer service were not available all day - I tried calling several times. The next day when I have finally managed to speak to someone the person barely spoke English and so trying to explain the issue was challenging, furthermore the customer service representative was not empowered by the company to actually resolve this quickly and effectively and I was told it can take weeks for them to "investigate".
