After spending time and money having a design made and a quote for supply received, I then find out that they "No longer supply" not a word about this or the likelihood of it happening just my own research when trying to order from the quote. as an example of "Commitment to access and inclusion" it is laughable.

Fine & Able recently installed a wet room for my husband, a stroke victim, who has very little mobility. Until now we'd been making do with an existing shower room where we'd fitted grab rails and steps, but every shower time was terrifying and dangerous. Within a week of the new wet room becoming functional he had so much more confidence and required much, much less assistance, which is great for him and myself. As well as enabling much more independence, the wet room is beautiful. A friend recently described it as "like being in a 5* hotel". We're delighted and found Fine & Able to be an honest and helpful company to deal with and their fittings to be high quality.

I contacted Fine and Able to update my bathroom as it was not fully fit for purpose for me as a wheelchair user and they were excellent! I worked with Viv the designer, I had a lot of questions and design changes but she was so helpful, always taking the time to answer my questions, even during the installation, and sending me samples. We had video calls to go through the designs and ensure that the bathroom would meet my needs. The process was very smooth and the contractors that were hired to carry out the work were very good. I would definitely recommend using Fine and Able to create your accessible bathroom!

I wanted an accessible shower room having had a hip replacement at the end of 2021 and I knew our dated bathroom with a huge cast iron bath had to go! I was firstly introduced to Vivian at Fine & Able and I immediately loved her enthusiasm and great ideas for the new shower room. Vivian and I had a number of video calls and I always found that she listened to my input, she was brilliant with her designs and suggestions, together with her meticulously drawn plans. Fine & Able's installation manager, Bob, visited my home with the contractor, Shaun, who started the work on time and throughout the job worked diligently and with an extremely high standard of finish. Bob and Shaun were great throughout the building works, making certain that I was always happy with the work. I am absolutely delighted with my new accessible shower room from Fine & Able and thanks for the 5-star service.

I was determined not to have an ugly clinical looking bathroom with adaptations that look more like they should be in a hospital or a nursing home! Then I found Fine and Able! The service we received from Fine and Able was professional from day one! They offered us lots of practical advice and were patient and understanding. Throughout the process the whole team went above and beyond from the initial video call with designer Alison to Bob the Project Manager and Vivienne travelling to see us in person! Alison took our moodboard and helped bring our ideas to life, while Bob was there supporting us every step of the way! I now have my dream stylish accessible bathroom and have regained a little bit of independence! Thank you Fine and Able! 😊

Where do I start?! Fine & Able have been amazing! Initially the thought of designing and getting an accessible bathroom for my son seemed daunting and a little bit upsetting. I wasn’t sure how I could make a disabled bathroom look cool enough for my 6 year old kid but still be very functional and accessible. In walks Alison. She made it all so fun. She even spoke to my son to figure out what colours he likes (black! haha!) and she designed a beautiful but accessible bathroom which we loved!!!! My son calls it a Black Panther bathroom (his favourite Avenger). I went to and fro to her to change little bits here and there but she was so patient through it all (thank you). We are now in the process of getting it installed and all the detailed pics and drawings that Alison provided are so useful for the plumber and tiler. I can not wait to see the completed bathroom. Thanks again Fine&Able team.

“We started our journey in April 2021 having decided on Fine and Able because the company specialise in bathrooms for disabled persons. Our initial consultations were via Zoom where plans were drawn and our requirements discussed. Alison drew up excellent plans, utilising all available space as the bathroom is bijou being en-suite We also visited their offices to see the products and choose our tiles. However, as our flat is on the third floor of a block it did not go swimmingly. There were many hurdles to cross, including the managing agents, the freeholder and the council. They were determined to hinder our plans. However Bob, who was our co-ordinator at Fine and Able, was determined to get a positive conclusion, and worked really hard liaising with surveyors and the management of development where we live. Finally, after six months or so, permissions had been granted and work could begin. Fine and Able could not be faulted and did not stop supporting us. They were exemplary throughout, always staying in contact and advising and communicating via telephone, Zoom or Teams. Finally, the three man fitting team began work early January 2022. Their work was of a high standard; even taking down tiles when they thought they were not sticking well and reattaching them the next day with a different adhesive. They covered all the floors round the flat to ensure no damage. They were polite and courteous. There were still obstacles with surveyors needing to inspect the works’ progress. After 15 days the en suite was completed. The bathroom looks great and works well. To show our thanks to Fine and Able we had an op

My mother was in desperate need of a downstairs shower due to a sudden decline in health. The team recognised the urgency of the situation and were fantastic in completing a beautiful wetroom for my mother. The whole process was seamless, stressfree and we are over the moon with the results.

My wife and I worked closely with Alison who helped design an accessible wetroom for me. OK - apologies for the hyperbole here but I cannot thank this company enough. The outcome was spectacular. Each time I go for a shower I look at it as 'a space of great beauty'. From a practical perspective, Alison spent several meetings finding out what we wanted, coming up with draft plans, showing lots of flexibility as we focused down on a final iteration, daughter making sure that she was included in the design (modern but elements in keeping with the age of the house). In addition, Fine & Able held a three way conversation with our builder, Alison and one of their technical experts. Practically, the wetroom works very well. An excellent meld of design and function. Well done!

When converting a barn for my son and his young family I turned to Fine and Able to design an accessible bathroom that would suit my granddaughter’s needs yet look modern and beautiful. From my first contact with Alison until project completion all communication was brilliant. Not only did Fine and Able come up with a lovely design they made sure of all the technical details and supply logistics. The result is a bathroom my granddaughter loves and will find so comfortable to use in the future. Accessible doesn’t mean it has to lack style and comfort, Fine and Able have proven that. I will certainly recommend them as wonderful people to deal with.

Bathroom renovations are one of the most stressful things you can ever undertake in a house. My elderly parents now have mobility problems and so needed a total bathroom redesign and conversion into a wet room with aid assisted items to help them move freely around it. After a lot of research, we found Fine & Able. I took mum and dad to meet Alison and the team and they listened to our needs and guided us through what we required. There was a deposit of £50 for the plans and this would be used towards the project if we went ahead. The design was great, and we decided to move forward with the project. They sent a lovely man called Bob who surveyed the bathroom and assured us that nothing would be too difficult and that the job would take around two weeks. The fitters arrived on time and the equipment arrived the next day as planned. Brian and his team set to work. I have had many bathrooms fitted over the years and have dealt with many tradesmen, and I have to say this team was a pleasure to work with, everything went like clockwork. I must say from the start of this project, to the day Brian and his team left, everything was conducted in a professional, well organised way, and they over delivered on their promises. I would not hesitate to recommend the team at Fine & Able. Keep up the amazing work guys. Alan, Mum & Dad

We recently engaged with Fine & Able to help us with our plans to renovate our grandparents house to make her home safe & better suited to her changing needs. We spoke with the lovely Alison who was so helpful, knowledgeable and thought of details we just wouldn't have. Alison listened to our needs, guided us through the processes and presented great designs reflective of those needs. The team are not only friendly, engaged and supportive; but also incredibly knowledgeable. The products are innovative and really well designed.

Why can’t every business be as customer service focussed as this one? I ordered a set of bi-fold shower doors, super helpful team of people guided me through the options. Arrived on time. Builders went to fit them and realised there was a tiny fault with the doors but not enough to worry me about - probably a 3-4mm height difference. I emailed some pics really just to let them know and didn’t expect to hear back. They were on the phone almost immediately to ask a few questions. Called me back a few hours later to confirm a replacement would be sent. And then I had a follow up email this morning to say they’d been despatched. Incredible. Even John Lewis isn’t that efficient and I always thought they did customer service well. Super product, super team of people. Very impressed.
