The customer service and problem solving i experienced when dealing with Brandon from Townsville was without doubt some of the best of my life. I have had dealings with all major automotive auction companies in Australia and can say the difference is chalk and cheese. Pickles can be trusted.

Easy buying process, Pickles were able to organise the transport for me of my heavy machine and payment was simple. Staff are available to contact on the phone if needed and there is adequate flexibility for pickup and delivery. Overall good and simple experience.

Terrible after-sale service. I was sold a vehicle advertised as unregistered, but no notice of disposal had been lodged by Pickles. I contacted Pickles about 8 times over the course of weeks about this, told them clearly what I needed (as advised by TfNSW and CTP providers) but they seemed more interested in arguing about it rather than lodging the appropriate paperwork. It was a month and a half after the sale before I could finally register it.

Why can't I rate zero stars? I bought a lemon from pickles on 5 January 2025. It failed roadworthy. The mechanic wondered aloud how I didn't die driving the death trap to him. Extreme fire risk. Unsafe to drive. The car had been leaking diesel for over two years, and the diesel had contaminated everything. Including the transmission. The car failed to reverse, failed to engage in drive. I found out the history of the car by calling the dealership who had serviced the car for 14 years. (VW Tuggeranong.)They confirmed the owner was well aware of the issues, had failed to fix anything, and driven it until it's death. And then sold it at auction. Pickles claim they do not look at the cars they auction and profit from. The car was actively leaking when I picked it up, I noticed as soon as I parked it at home. I asked picked for a refund. They took three days to return an answer: Pickles are not able to offer any form of a refund. This was disappointing. Moving forward, I needed to get another car. This meant I had to remove the death trap from my driveway (I live in a unit complex). I only have one parking space. I sold the car to a wrecker. Over two weeks later from sending me an email stating that pickles would offer no refund, pickles call me. Now, they will refund me for the death trap, if I return the car. The car I just sold for scrap, at a loss of $3500. I tell them I don't have the car so they rescind the refund offer. Avoid pickles at all costs.

Don't buy a Sprinter from these people. Don't believe speedo readings or their condition report. Dont buy a car from them that you have never seen on the basis of a pointless and useless condition report. You will only ever get meaningless, disingenuous responses from them.

It should be really disappointing for the vendor to accept only $175 for the current model item which retails for more than $10.000. I expected the item to be in poor condition but to my surprise it was in excellent condition. The previous owner was a municipal council so i guess that explains everything.

I am QLD based and bought a repairable write off here at a QLD auction. Turns out the vehicle was written off in SA, therefore it has to be inspected and registered in SA again. Pickles is misleading information the same way Grays Auction did it over the last 2-3 years, simply by leaving important information out! They used to declare where it was last registered if sold interstate! Case is still under review. Waiting on reply from Pickles.

Good communication and smooth sailing. Car reports were accurate and ...they have been doing this a while although I hear new owners. Only gripe was paying duty on transport but that's a Tas gov thing and nothing to do with pickles.

I had been looking for a Hiace Van for two months and was keeping my eye across a number of Auction Sites. I spotted one for sales on Pickles and made contact with them. It was a sale item rather than auction and within minutes of leaving my enquiry I received a call from the sales team. He was extremely helpful and had all the information through to me in minutes. I couldn't collect the vehicle for a week, and they were only too happy to keep it stored for us. Very easy to deal with.

A few days prior to attending my first online auction, I received excellent advice and help from the Pickles assistance via telephone. The assistants were very considerate making sure I had everything working for my attendance as a non-bidding participant in an auction so I could see how it works. As my auction was for a repairable salvage car, I was made aware that these types of auctions go very quickly, approximately 30 seconds. I definitely needed to be prepared to participate to be successful as I was. Overall, I am very happy with my Pickles experience.

A shout out to Tom the gate#4 attendant @ 400 Beatty Rd who was very helpful to us once we had successfully bid for a caravan at Archerfield. Very polite and knowledgeable about our next steps. Thanks.

Great customer service. Easy and helpful to work with, fast and responsive processing of customer problems. Only problem was fork damage to a car.
