Sam is an excellent coach. He analyzes the issues that many People face in speaking English and teaches students the right methodology to improve accent. Moreover, Sam serves as a life coach, inspiring students to achieve their goals through mindset and behavior change. I learned a lot from Sam.

Mr. Xia is a great mentor, in both accent code and spiritual guidance! I learned a lot in 6 weeks and enjoy the group session very much. Sam knows his stuff really well. He immitates different accents or famous people's speeches better than some voice actors. His ears pick out detailed differences, which he then explains how these sounds were articulated. He teaches really well also. Because of his amazing ability, he can provide feedbacks that are concise and very actionable. With his high expectations and standards, students can improve quickly. On top of speaking, he is also teaching how to BE the person who delivers great speeches. Beyond the technicalities, one needs to have the right mindset, energy, and inspirations to make a message emotionally compealing. He is and expects his students to be such a person by working hard in a systematic way to improve all aspects of our lives. I am grateful of the lessons I have taken away from Sam. My life has become much more interesting and exciting because of Sam. I look forward to continue applying his lessons to improve many aspects of my life.

I would give Sam more than five stars if there is one because this is the best speech class I have ever taken! Here is why: 1) The way Sam teaches is unique，effective and easy to master. 2) He is not only a great linguist, but also a mentor who can share many valuable things with his students, such as popular philosophies, great speech examples, etc. He also spent a lot of his precious time after class to help answer the questions from the students. 3) He also leaves us with some very useful drills/tools to accompany our future practice. 4) I feel really good right now cuz I strongly believe, via this class, I have already mastered/possess the real secret code/sauce, together with my diligence and motivation, they will bring my public speech to much higher levels....
