United Kingdom | 23 August 2018very poor service ,I ordered over the phone to make sure everything was in stock. Was told it was so ordered over the phone and paid in full by card. I was emailed to say it would be with me the next day :then I got an email to say it was not in stock and could be sent the following week .After registering with the site and not being able to get into my account. I was not impressed .I phoned and cancelled order . I expect it will take then a lot longer to refund my money than it took to take it . Wish I had read the reviews on here first . It would seem this is common .

United Kingdom | 14 July 2018My order was a 3-5 day delivery but I had an email off them telling me that it was out of stock and due in the next week and would I like to still proceed with the order. I said yes that is fine so as soon as my order was in they sent it next day delivery! By them doing this it still arrived within the 5 days as advertised. Great customer service doing that for me.

United Kingdom | 27 September 2017Terrible customer service. Brought a heated duvet that was so heavy I couldn't sleep in my bed last night. Yeah I spent the night in my chair. The best part is they won't take it back for a refund, unhygeinic they say. I thought most people put duvet covers on they're duvets so how is hygiene effected, especially after only 55 minutes being under it. It's so heavy it bruised my toes, if I could include pictures here I would. World of Camping, be very, very careful they're not as good as people think. I've spent £thousands with them over the years, never again, do yourselves a favour STEER CLEAR OF WORLD OF CAMPING

My experience of them was fantastic both on the phone and also through the chat feature on their web site. It's nice to deal with real people who care when shopping on line.

Called today (three days later) to find out what was happening, told that there was a system error and they were going to call me this afternoon. Waiting on a tent for a camping holiday and now have to find another supplier and pay for express delivery.

As a caravaner, I was also impressed how well it caters for the caravaner. They products I ordered were competitive and delivered fast, with well packaged boxes. I would definitely use them again.

Netherlands | 27 September 2011I paid £9.99 for delivery next day by noon for a power inverter for a charity event which failed to appear in time 'because the courier misrouted it'. OK, everyone makes mistakes. However, it wasn't routed back to WoC and refunded as promised, appearing a day later at my office where it stayed uncollected. I rang to ask for collection. After another delay it was collected and after another delay I was refunded for the item but not the delivery, 3 weeks after delivery was originally due. I rang customer services to ask for the £9.99 refund but was told my claim was with the courier! Despite explaining that they paid the courier the person I spoke to and the customer services manager (Lyssa) were adamant. Dispute registered with PayPal...Avoid.

United Kingdom | 21 July 2011Having ordered an Outdoor Revolution Easi Canopy on Friday last (15th July 2011) I was delighted to receive it this morning (20th July). Deliveries to Northern Ireland are often delayed due to the distance and difficulties with couriers however, I was pleasantly surprised at how fast and efficient this company were in despatching my order. Their pricing is very reasonable and the range of products excellent. I will definitely purchase from this company again.

United Kingdom | 06 July 2011A computer glitch during the ordering process meant I wasn't sure if payment had been received, but a quick telephone call and it was confirmed, in a very friendly and efficient way, as having gone through. My order was an electric coolbox for which they had posted a video demonstrating and discussing features, making it very easy to decide on my choice, especially as an extensive review of internet prices showed them to be competitive. Delivery was also quick and efficient. I do a lot of internet shopping, and it is rare indeed to come across such a good company to be dealing with. I'll definitely be shopping with them again! United Kingdom | 15 June 2011I was after a particular tent (Gelert Solo) and sleeping bag (Gelert Tryfan 300 DL) for a week long hike around the Scilly Isles. World of Camping were offering both items at pretty much the cheapest price I could find online. Which was good. They are based in Redruth, I live in St Ives and being a bit of a skin flint, I gave them a ring asking if they could put the items aside for me and I'd pop along, pick them up and save myself a delivery charge. Not a problem they said, pop along whenever you can. Which was grand. I'm going to upgrade to a Gelert Mongoose for my next 'adventure' and World of Camping are again offering pretty much the best price online, excluding caveat (EBAY)mptor, so I will definitely ordering from them again. United Kingdom | 26 February 2011I have on 2 occasions now ordered stock that they advertised as being in stock - only to then receive emails stating they are out of stock I have revisited the website to see if the items are now listed as OOS only to see they are STILL advertising as in stock items. Absolutely appalling and totoally unacceptable.
