United States | 20 March 2024Horrible experience after making a purchase for the first time with this company, Espresso Underground UK. We have a special customer with an older machine and we needed a part that we couldn't find anywhere else. We eventually found Espresso Underground UK and decided to place an order at the end of January. We are now almost at the end of March and we STILL do not have the part or any kind of confirmation that it shipped. I asked for a tracking # numerous times and never got one. As a service company, we order parts all the time so we understand that sometimes mistakes and delays happen. However, our main issue/concern is the complete lack of communication since I have e-mailed repeatedly asking them for a simple tracking number, as they claimed it was shipped to us on 2/9. About two weeks ago, I e-mailed to let them know I was going to be reversing the charges as we were not getting any kind of response back. I immediately received a response back asking for me to "please bear with us" and that someone was working on getting back to me. I've sent two e-mails since then asking for some kind of update and still, nothing. Reading some of the other reviews about "excellent communication" even late at night...it's absolutely shocking to say the least considering it's been almost two months since making this purchase and it's been torture trying to get someone to respond. We reversed the charges today and will never try to purchase anything from this company ever again. If this company was in the US, I would absolutely file a report with the BBB.

They had a good selection and were one of the few that had a 57mm tamp instead of the usual 58mm varieties. Got my item really quickly in the mail with no issues. Can't wait to revisit for my next upgrade!

A very refreshing experience given in recent times our experience with other businesses has been very much the opposite.

The first shipment came after a week and half the things were missing, after several phone calls I was able to get one part of the missing parts and I'm still waiting for the rest. I called the phone over 20 but no success. I do not recommend! This company is a scam! There is no refund option anywhere on the website! Don't make my mistake ordering stuff from there

Netherlands | 30 January 2023Ordering here is a waste of time, money and energy. The company abuses customer confidence in fair trade and products. Delivery of two fake Gaggia E90 group switches by Espresso Underground. Financial damage: €49,25 inclusive taxes and duties (NL). On the sales page, the front of the switch looks the same as the original, but upon receipt it becomes clear that you’re not dealing with genuine parts. Cheap Chinese 4-contacts switches have been used to produce these imitations, instead of delivering the original Italian made 5-contacts switches, needed to function with the Gaggia E90. These won't work. A refund should be the only way to solve it, but is neglected. The proposed replacement of the ‘right’ part after returning the delivery is no solution because of high double shipping costs of a worthless part and above all there’s no trust in this company, their products and a happy end anymore. This story leaves a bad feeling. Recently, the original Italian parts have been re-ordered at, and delivered by a decent supplier within the E.U. so without double taxes and duties, making it easier to forget.

Placed an order on the 18th September, never received the item and no communication from the company regarding the delivery. Opened a dispute with PayPal to finally get money back. However, on the dispute back, accused myself of threatening on WhatsApp which was a complete lie. Please do not order from this company unless you are happy with donating your money and not receiving any products. If you are ordering, order via PayPal so you have some protection with buying!

Hong Kong | 04 August 2022I was ordered a LELIT BIANCA and Eureka Grinder on 1/8/2022 but I can’t see any update status and nothing order record in my account. So I don't know the order is in progress or missing, but the credit card was charge already.
