We went to one of Apuldram's talks on Roses, Great welcome and we learnt a lot about pruning and when to do it. I won't forget 'Waist high in Winter and Ankle high in Spring' I also learnt about spacing our roses in the front garden. All enjoyed with a good cup of tea or two and for me copious amounts of homemade cakes from Elizabeth, thank you for looking after us.

Apuldram Roses is a gem of a nursery. Liz and Jonathan are knowledgable, helpful and welcoming - a winning combination. Would highly recommend both for buying plants and for their workshops.

Brilliant talk and opportunities to ask questions about rose care looking forward to the autumn and winter The home made cake and hot beverage were a lovely bonus and the nursery has a range of garden products for sale particularly related to rose care The rose garden is beautiful despite the awful weather we've had this year, a real inspiration. The roses and plants available for sale looked healthy and well cared for and advice is available re appropriate rose for requirements

The class was small enough so that everyone who wanted to, could ask questions and be answered in full. Both staff organising the talk and demonstration had years of experience in rose growing, pruning, budding and feeding, protection from pests & diseases, as well as varietal differences. It is important to stay on the subject advertised for the talk and not to drift of it.
