United States | 07 August 2024This is a company that is doing things RIGHT! I’m convinced everyone hired at chewy must be a “dog/pet person” because they are my kind of people!! Customer service is always TOP notch, shipping is literally LIGHTNING speed, emails are responded to right away, and they even send my dog a birthday card every year? The team over there goes above and beyond so much that I felt it necessary to take 5 minutes out of my day to come write this review unprompted. You won’t be disappointed if you try Chewy.

United States | 05 August 2024Chewy has taken care of my pets for years. I just lost my cat, and sent Chewy a message that she passed and to please stop the auto ship. No kidding they sent me flowers and a sweet note for sympathies for my loss. AMAZING COMPANY

Previously when I forgot to change the auto ship address they sent me a new order no problem, and my orders have always been process and delivered quickly. However the email I just received from one of the team members went above and beyond. Recently my Cassi passed away and I reached out to ask about returning a product. Not only did they process my refund, they wrote a heartfelt message of condolences and support that brought me to tears. It meant a lot that a total stranger would extend so much kindness

United States | 05 August 2024Would give zero stars if I could. Placed an order, Chewy took the money then cancelled the order and deactivated the account. Even after our details were verified by phone at their request. Customer services would not help. Spam you with emails also.

United States | 05 August 2024I have been receiving Chewy's auto ship for years. I have multiple pets and spend between 1,000 and 1200 every month on my auto ships . I am sooo disappointed in them recently . They used to have wonderful customer service but lately it's been horrible. I have my auto ship scheduled for every 2 weeks yet it randomly has been debited from my bank account in 8 days , 10 days etc. instead of every 2 weeks, I explained to many customer service reps and even a manager that I don't want it debited randomly and that I chose every 2 weeks because I don't want it every 10 days or even 8 days. They promise it won't happen again every time. Last month the rep changed it to every 8 months and said just hit " ship now " when you actually want it and then it won't come out early . I told her I'd try that but again this month they debited my bank account for 750.00 when my last order shipped early 2 weeks ( not 8 months before) . They just lost my business . I can't afford overdraft fees they cause me any more . I'll take my 1200 a month elsewhere and pay a little extra to avoid overdraft fees in my checking account . It's a shame they can't figure out how to actually charge an account every 2 weeks when the order is requested every 2 weeks.

United States | 05 August 2024Realized that we were almost out of our cat's prescription, so I ordered it and reached out to chewy to explain that we were almost out and to find out when it would be delivered. The order was shipped the next day and overnighted without me needing to request that. Great customer service.

United States | 05 August 2024We reached out to chewy regarding a medication that our baby desperately needed. I was informed not to worry that they would expedite it. I offered to pay for the expedited shipment and was told it wasn’t necessary. That was Saturday morning. Now, I get an email confirming shipment (a day later) with a flat rate free fee and delivery on Tuesday. How is that expedited? I would have driven to a compounding pharmacy if I knew the delay was going to be that long. So disappointed in the customer service rep who promised us everything and delivered nothing. I was asking for the moon. I would have happily paid double whatever the amount for overnight shipping.

United States | 04 August 2024I know we ALL deal with a LOT of companies in our daily lives but I have GOT to let you all know about dealing with Chewy. I ordered Drake a pet ramp from them about 3 weeks ago, to help him get into the back of our Ford Escape. Of course his liver disease started to overwhelm him and he passed away. So I called and told a WONDERFUL young lady named Dailyn at Chewy, to see if I could return the pet ramp. I think she was crying before we got 15 seconds into the conversation. She had to be one of the SWEETEST people I have dealt with during this time. She not only said she would give me credit for the purchase, she said just donate the ramp to Animal Services, which I DEFINITELY will be doing,in her honor. Now here is where TOTAL CLASS steps in. Betty and I JUST received a BEAUTIFUL bouquet of flowers from Dailyn and the staff at Chewy for losing Drake. This has given me SO MUCH faith in mankind at this tough time we are going thru. So I am not being a spokesman for Chewy, I am just telling you our story. And I KNOW, Drakie, is smiling down from heaven as I cry myself writing this. Maybe one day, but right now, I just do not foresee getting another dog. It is just TOO painful!!. Thank each of you for letting me share our story with you. United States | 04 August 2024If I could go lower I would. Was my first order, and was literally convinced earlier by vet to use this Chewy service so I did. Ordered some items for my Gizmo to help with his anxiety. Not only did I not get the items I had specifically ordered was sent something for his stomach which wasn’t anything along the lines of my order. As a warehouse worker I understand that it gets busy and such but this was a total lack on everyone’s part. I’ll never even attempt to use Chewy again.

United States | 04 August 2024I placed an order for my cat and dog, on behalf of my 75 year old grandmother. She wanted me to use her card so I did, 3 days in a row now I've been forced to call and hand her the phone for her to explain that I'm her grandson and it was her card being used and 3 days I've heard the same reply" I guess they didn't record the information properly." Once I figure this headache out I'm getting my order and deleting my account. I'm not sure what changed but the sites definitely going in the wrong direction being this inconvenient.

United States | 03 August 2024Their customer service has really tanked in the last month. This morning I called to find out when the current promotion ended. I shop via the app and when you click for exclusions, it takes you back to the homepage. So I spent all day building my cart to get to $100. Then tonight I went to checkout and it said there was an error with the code. Called customer service and Katie said that my items weren’t eligible. I asked to talk with a manager because that couldn’t be right as I spoke with someone this morning in customer service who did not say anything about specific items. The manager (Betty) said that my items were not eligible. I tried to explain that I was on the phone with customer service earlier in the day (which she could also see) and nobody said there was anything wrong with the items in my cart. Also, I don’t know how it’s the customer's problem that the app doesn’t work properly. Basically, nothing they could do. Tried to offer 10% off but can get the stuff cheaper than that on Amazon. Disappointing because we used to like this company and the best thing about them was the customer service and caring for our pets.

Recently my little fur baby of 14 years passed and Chewy was more than kind and thoughtful to let me know that they were thinking of us. I appreciate them more than you know.

I had a chat with one person and they told me a product I ordered wasn’t eligible for my promo I entered, I looked the the eligibility and it didn’t say anything about that product, the next day I reached out again, only to be told that product was eligible for that, but I cannot receive my promo because another issue with a different promo they had going. I was told I entered the promo that I didn’t enter. I told them I only entered the promo that I was trying to receive. The person I spoke with was Jody P. I asked Jody who could I speak with to properly handle my situation and Jody ignored my question about 3 times, then I asked for Jody’s boss name which was also ignored. Then Jody ended my chat without me saying I was done nor giving me the name so I could speak with them. But shipping and supplies are great.

United States | 31 July 2024I was very frustrated with chewy. As most know it’s expensive for heartworm and flee and tick medicine on large breed dogs. I was so excited to order because I had a 20% off coupon. The coupon said good through 7/30/24. I called because I couldn’t get the coupon to work. So I called customer service. What they should have done was to honor the coupon and keep customer happy. The girl wanted to argue and tell me coupon was expired. I said it wasn’t. Let’s help the customer and the pup ! Just let me use the coupon, it’s not thousands of dollars. I will purchase elsewhere, and maybe bring my other auto ships elsewhere

Chewy sells farmina which used ot be a great bran dmade in italy . but they switched their processing to serbia for chewy orders and neither company told anyone. i find out years later it harmed a pet of mind horribly. Next up i have spend tons of money on chewy buying fancy feast. purina makes it and turns out that's the source of my cats' diarrhea and vomiting. i had bought many cases and asked chewy to refund some. isntead of apologizing they required i send everything back they made up 4 different fedex returns. phone support said i could put all cases in one big chewy box and just put one of the labels on the outside and the rest inside. They completely screwed up the return and i have had no less than 11 customer service people telling me completely different reasons. Now a supervisor Carol contacted me and said there was no movement on 3 of the receipts. Instead of looking at what was logically going on and refunding me I'm now dealing with trying to simply be refunded for a 5 cases out of at 15. I have spent over 50k on chewy over the years and now have to look elsewhere. I see all the sad and vulnerable people who lost their pets praising chewy for being so nice when their pets died. Please people don't think they care. It such a slimeball tactic to make chewy look good. Going to try petco and petflow now. Update, now the bad rep is making up absurd lies. i wonder if their supply team is reselling returned pet food on amazon.

United States | 30 July 2024We had been and are customers with older dogs and our oldest died. Chewy shipped a bag of his very costly food and he obviously cannot use it. I contacted them to ask if I could return it and they refunded me and asked me to take it to my local animal shelter. I am so beyond happy with their response I cannot express it more. There are not many companies that care enough for animals but let alone for their caregivers. Thank you Chewy.

You should be very proud of his knowledge and quick thinking helped me figure out situations with my orders, and he was able to work things out to fit my needs. He is quite a valued employee of yours. He is very considerate, polite, and professional. He was a problem solver who I won’t soon forget. He helped me with confusion about what I was feeding my dog, who is a senior and has renal issues, and I am very, very grateful. Everybody has opinions here, but in my opinion, Chewy does an exemplary job. The thing that can’t be helped, though, is that prices and life are going up, but this is in every retail store. Nothing is more valuable than my pets, so I am happy to get the best of what Chewy offers. with Cole,working in your Customer Service and his care for knowing many facets of your industry he deserves and a pat on his back. Canada | 30 July 2024Chewy has recently expanded into Canada and I am fortunate enough to be able to get deliveries in my area of Ontario. This was a welcome experience after having discovered that Amazon.ca was raising its prices alarmingly. I switched all my Amazon subscribe and save to Chewy auto-ship several months ago and things have gone well. When I needed help I called their number expecting the usual very long waits till the company answers, plus more time spent trying to run interference past an untrained robot to an unskilled, uncaring customer service representative. Imagine my surprise when my call was answered on the first ring by a real live human being!! She resolved my issue quickly and pleasantly and even asked after my pet, by name. It was like a breath of fresh air and almost felt like I was talking to a friend. Combine that with some of the most reasonable prices I have been able to find lately and I think the Chewy company is a real winner.
