United States | 18 May 2024Not understanding all these 1 star reviews, to be honest Chewy is the best out there! Chewy, you outdid yourselves again. Your amazingly compassionate, caring and kind staff make you guys that much better. I’ve been using Chewy for years, and let me tell you this is the most amazing pet website I have ever come across. I recently had to switch my Cats wet food to Hills a/d which 1. requires an RX and 2. is extremely expensive. (approx. $89.00 for 24 cans.) Shortly after ordering and receiving my cat’s food, he suddenly passed away :( When i explained the situation to Chewy in hopes of returning it, not only did they say they’ll refund my chewy account right away, they also said to keep the food. They were SO understanding and kind it was unbelievable. They were more worried about myself other than the $. We need more humans like this in the world. I can’t wait to donate this food to my local shelter on Moose’s (my late cat’s) behalf. Thank you for everything Carol R, and the whole chewy team! You made my weekend!

United States | 18 May 2024Chewy is by far the best option for pet supplies. They have the best prices, which are even better with auto refill orders. They’ve always taken care of us. I can’t recommend them enough.

United States | 17 May 2024Some chicken sticks got my dogs sick. I thought it could of been something else so I waited and gave my doggos the treat again and they got sick again. 😫 I will never order anything from chewy.com. I called and told them about my issue as well.

United States | 17 May 2024While I can appreciate their free shipping if I spend about over $50? I think they are clearly, "missing the boat" with coupons for first time users only - seldom for their steady, repeat customers. There is no question, that this will be one of their eventual, primary sources of failure as an online supplier. It's coming...

United States | 16 May 2024I use Chewy autoship for my pet treats. When I received my most recent order, it was not packed well. The treats were very broken and the shampoo bottle was cracked. I emailed Chewy and was immediately sent a duplicate order, at no cost to me! I hope the packaging issue gets resolved, but I can't complain when Chewy replaces the damaged items for free.

United States | 16 May 2024I have sent 4 emails asking for a receipt.I save points at Purina. I've never received any reply..no ok , no we don't do that. I have received 3 surveys " how did we do" did we solve your issue? Kidding right? I get emails telling me " I need this" so I know they have my email.and i know enough to stay away from.this company..they show how little they care once they have your money. Gezz I'd hate to have problem!!! This review asks date? It's been 2 weeks since I first asked I used them.maybe two or three years back for autoship and as someone else pointed out they send orders way ahead of time..I had so much cat food at one point i had no room to store it also cheat you out of coupons and deals..I received a coupon in the mail and thought I'd give them a try with a one time order of half of what I'd Normally buy..their customer service has gone from poor to non existence. I filled out every survey stating NO ONE HAS CONTACTED ME ..so it would appear they don't look at the surveys they send or just don't care.

United States | 15 May 2024Chewy.com has been my go-to for pet supplies for years. Their quick delivery and reasonable prices are impressive, but their customer service truly shines. When our dog passed away, I called about returning unopened food, and they not only credited my card but also offered a thoughtful suggestion: donate the food to a shelter. Touchingly, a bouquet and sympathy card arrived soon after. I wholeheartedly recommend Chewy for their kindness and dedication to their customers and their pets.

United States | 11 May 2024THOUGHTFUL. I have been using CHEWY for my pets' needs for years. We had to euthanize our dog about two weeks ago. With that I had called to return a bed we just purchased. Not only did they say to donate the bed and they would refund me; we received a bouquet of flowers today from CHEWY. How thoughtful is that from a company like CHEWY. I will never stop using them as long as I have pets. Thank You Chewy for your kindness.

United States | 10 May 2024I have been ordering from Chewy.com for several years, they are always helpful and accommodating. Las night we had to put our baby dog of 15 years to sleep, and I called Chewy to see about sending back the unopened cases of food I just ordered since he was no longer here to eat it. Not only did they credit back my charge card, but told me not send back but donate to a shelter instead. Then, to my SHOCK and SURPRISE, a bouquet of flowers arrived at my door with a sympathy card personalized with Ricky's name. I can't believe it, what company on this planet is that generous, kind and thoughtful? I recommend everyone support this company to help them promote their generosity and kindness!

United States | 09 May 2024Auto ship has deteriorated badly. Chewy failed to ship an ordered package of dog food twice. The first time Chewy claimed a “glitch in the system” caused an failure to ship. Upon calling Chewy a replacement package was ordered… the replacement shipment has now stalled for 3 days after receiving a “shipping label.” Never had this problem before with over 10 years of transactions with Chewy. I’ve now switched to Amazon and the order is underway.

United States | 09 May 2024I have placed several orders with them, and they have always arrived on time and in good condition. Today my order arrived with an item broke…. They were easy to contact and sent me a replacement immediately.

United States | 07 May 2024Chewys customer service is amazing! I placed an order and accidentally sent it to an address I used to live at. I called right away to see if I can change the address or cancel the order. Someone picked up within 30 seconds and my issue was resolved in less than 5 minutes. Super quick and easy. Thank you Chewy!!

United States | 06 May 2024Chewy has amazing customer service and really cares about your pet. I bought food my dog decided she didn’t want anymore. Without question, I received a full refund plus the s omitted to donate the food to a local shelter or rescue. I feel that shows a really good business! Thank you Chewy!!

United States | 04 May 2024I already knew about the great products and prices at Chewy. I just wanted to commend you on your great customer service. I spoke with Candice this morning and, besides being delightful, we got to talking about how Chewy is as an employer. She could not say enough good things about your company! How great it is to work there, how the great way you treat your customers is the same way you treat your employees. The emphasis on work/life balance... I know in these times it's difficult to get and keep good emplyees and lots of employers are having to make difficult decisions about where to cut. It makes me very happy to do business with a company that values their customers, both people and pets, and their employees, equally. You have a customer for life! Suzie Alexander

United States | 04 May 2024Chewy is so fair. I have had 2 experiences with issues. Due to my error in ordering I got a bag of dog food Hercules would not have been able to lift. My 18 # doggie would take a year or two to eat it all. Chewy told me to give it to our Humane Society and refunded. Then this year 2 months after our Sherlock passed, I received prescription for Simparica Trio ($178.00). I had forgotten that I had signed up for autoship 6 months ago. They immediately refunded and suggested I donate it to my vet office. Chewy is awesome.

United States | 03 May 2024We have used Chewy.com for years, but as of April and May of 2024 they have become unreliable. We subscribe to the "Auto-ship" program for our dog food. Twice in the last 2 months, Chewy has informed us that our item is unavailable, and canceled our shipment. I contacted them to find out why and they said "this large breed dog formula is in high demand and is sold out as soon as we receive it". I find this extremely disappointing and bad business practice. Those who subscribe to the auto-ship program should be given priority over others, since it is basically a pre-sale. Auto-ship items should be considered sold, set aside, and not even offered to the general public. Now I am in a bind and need to find this 40lb bag of dog food locally and pick it up myself (with a broken arm). I don't know what's going on at Chewy, but they have lost my business.

United States | 03 May 2024I've been a customer for a few years and had to call customer service three times. The first time, my cat's water fountain broke too soon after purchasing. They sent me a new one with no hassle. The second time, my package was marked as delivered, but I didn't have it. Customer service gave me the suggestion to walk around my building and see where fedex may have left it. She stayed on the phone with me until I found the package, and then told me about an option fedex has to help them find your address. (Fedex often can't find me- this was not Chewy's error.) Just now, I called with a question about autoship prices. I got through to customer service with no wait time, and the guy who answered my question was very knowledgeable and nice. I love Chewy. I wish every business was like this.

United States | 03 May 2024Chewy lists "deals" online and claims that the reduced price will be "taken at check out." However, it is a bait and switch. You sign in, enter the order, your address, shipping information and payment information and only then do you learn that the advertised discount won't be given because its only for "first time customers" or some other undisclosed restriction. Chewy is banking on that you will just complete the sale as opposed to having to start all over with another merchant. Very shady and disappointing. Am looking into alternatives such as Valley Vet.

United States | 03 May 2024This company has no business selling pet supplies because they provide no quality control. They just buy whatever wholesale and then market it to the masses without doing their own research. If I'm wrong and they are doing their own research, that makes it even worse. They had a indoor/outdoor enclosure advertised a for a bunny but when it arrived, I found it was made of cedar, a toxic wood for bunnies. I contacted the company and they have done nothing. No refund. No credit. No vet bill reimbursement. And they continued to sell the hutch at half price even after I raised the issue to them. So now, they knowingly are putting animals at risk. I have all the photos of the original ad, all the emails with the company. If my bunny ends up sick or develops any issues, I will no doubt be suing.

United States | 03 May 2024I ordered a harness for my dog that turned out to be too big. I asked (through the chat on Chewy.com) if I could exchange it for a smaller size. Isabella P. jumped right on it and told me that she refunded the purchase, and that I didn't need to send back the first harness. She suggested that I could donate it to a local shelter. When I mentioned that I had used a coupon code on the first purchase, she immediately told me that she'd apply the same code to my new order. No questions asked, no conditions applied - fantastic customer support. This was my first purchase with Chewy, but certainly not my last.
