Every stage from selecting and having our front door fitted was explained clearly and professionally with helpful advice. Communication was excellent with accurate information. The fitting of the door was excellent with a minimum of disruption. The door looks excellent and functions very well particularly the sound proofing!

I am very pleased indeed with the quality of the 35 windows and five doors from Brunsdon and also by the workmanship of the fitters. I have no cricisims whatsoever of the fitting. The fitters were helpful, tidy and thorough in all they did and a pleasure indeed to have such competent workers here. I would have given a full complement of 5 stars without hesitation but for a less than thorough run through the details of the specification at the survey stage. On a large order, one outward opening door was by mistake replaced by an inward opening door in the specification which was not spotted by the client and could not be fitted.

From the sales staff through to the fitters we received a very professional service throughout. It is clear that Jack Brunsdon have a great product that gives them the confidence to relax and take care of the customer. I would throughly recommend them to anyone.

Was looking to get a new door but wasn’t sure what we were looking for. The Teddington sales team were brilliant at guiding us through our decision making. Measuring up and surveyer visits were very efficient. The reason I’ve given 5 stars however was the excellent installation team. The standard of their work and their very apparent expertise was fantastic. I understand that this may not be consistent with all installers but my experience has been very positive. Will be contacting you re windows when we’ve saved up some more pennies! We love our door and are even getting positive comments from delivery drivers, who must see a lot of doors!

DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT BOTHER WITH THIS COMPANY! Our decision to used Jack Brunsdon & Son was one our worst decisions when renovation our property. In order to get a semblance of satisfaction it has taken two years to get a door somewhere CLOSE to what we expected. Three replacement doors, and replacement glass side panels but still nowhere near to the quality in relation to the amount of money spent. We expected something like a door to 10 Downing Street, London for our money! We could have purchased small car or gone to a local builder's merchant store and had equal quality. Don't believe that they are a 'family firm' as implied in the brochures with constant staff changes when making contact. The doors are imported from overseas, not made In the UK so replacement can take months. There seems to be a lack of quality control during manufacture and shipping. Each time there was a problem, (always first noticed by us) be it a dent in a door, paintwork, poor finish to panels, faulty locks, poor measurements and subsequent replacements we had to wait weeks for an 'engineer' to come to assess the job then wait more weeks/months for the installation contractors to do the work. Our process started at the end of July 2016 and we placed the order within a couple of weeks after a surveyor had supposedly measured up. We had the door and side panels installed on Nov. 9th 2016 but told them immediately that there was a large dent and scratch so did not accept. Ten days after the first door was installed, the paint was blistering quite badly. It was November, so what it could have been like if it had been summer time, we will never know. We should have realised we might have continuing paint problems as a pot of paint was supplied with each of the 3 doors! It also chips very easily. An assessment was done after a wait then the paint 'expert' came to repair it. This catalogue of errors continues until Aug 2018 by which time we were so fed up that we signed the job off. Last week of Nov 2018 we eventually received a crumpled FENSA certificate, dated from 10 Nov. 2016 even though there isn't a single original component in the installation! In other words, we have essentially lost out on two years of warranty. Use this company at your peril. The only reason they have been given two stars and not one is because the staff were not rude. One time we had two vans on our driveway and a third one arrived to valet the vans! That's why they are so expensive.

Fantastic from begining to end. Our village is in raptures about them from quality to colour. Even the fitters were brilliant, no mess and took all the old windows and doors away. Everything fits to perfection. A big big thank you to all the team who were brilliant.

From walking into the showroom “ just to make an enquiry” to the fitting yesterday of my two new doors, staff couldn’t have been more helpful - or knowledgeable ! I am absolutely thrilled with the doors which are the Rolls Royce’s of the door world. Not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for in life. Once the order was given, Brunsdens were in close touch every step of the way; the Surveyor arrived on time and was meticulous; the doors were ready for fitting well before the promised date, and the fitters were wonderful. Apart from being a lovely couple with great personalities, they worked quickly, professionally and cleanly. I would recommend this company without any hesitation whatsoever.

The before and after sales service was very good. The visit to the showroom in Farnham was a good experience, as was the visit by the salesman. Next came the survey, which was carried out by a friendly and competent professional. The door was fitted by two men who were also friendly and competent. Everything was done on schedule with no fuss or stress. It's too early to tell if the door will be durable or not but I can't see why it shouldn't be. All in all, if you're looking for a new front door, I can recommend this company.

We have been appalled by the service that we have received on the installation of two Jack Brunsdon doors. When we looked at initially purchasing the doors we did some research online and did notice the negative comments particularly with regards to the customer service. We were however re-assured by the marketing team that the problems had been ironed out. This has clearly not been the case. The errors made have been endless throughout the entire process and they continue: • having being told that the installation would happen on a specific date with a given time, we took a day off work in order to be available for the arrival of the installers. The first installer was over 2 hours late from the scheduled appointment time as he had been sent to the wrong address and the second installer arrived another 3 hours later; • upon installation, a large dent to one door was noticed and it was not possible for the door to be fitted; • upon installation of the other door, the spyhole had not been included from the factory and a temporary fix was arranged; • the installers had to revisit one week later to fit the damaged door and replace the spyhole; • having fitted the damaged door, we noticed (not the installer) that the inside cover lid for the letterbox was missing. The installer had to return at a later date to put this on the door; • we then noticed that the lock for one door was not working correctly. As a result, an engineer was sent out to look at the locks. This was now the 4th visit that we had to receive following the installation due to all the problems. It was only upon the engineer visiting us that we became aware that the lock was not only a problem to our door but a recurrent issue for multiple customers. The engineer temporarily fixed the lock by creating a larger hole in the frame and moved the actual lock; • when we yet again reached out to the customer service to get an update on the next steps, we were told that the company had just sent out a letter in the post to address this issue which we never actually received; • We found it incredible that Jack Brunsdon did not have the courtesy to inform us of the apparent issue with the locks. We only became aware as we made contact with them (again). • We now have an issue with the other lock and yet again Jack Brunsdon are suggesting that they can only send out an engineer during a weekday and we will yet again need to take further time off work to accommodate such a visit. We have been reluctant to post anything on social media before now but we have reached the end of the line.

We had been promised a 'like-for-like' replacement for our original, and much loved 90 year old window frames and had clearly explained how essential it was not to reduce the light into our north facing home. Despite on delivery, raising our immediate concerns to the company, we were told we had signed off the windows, (from tiny illustrations which merely stated which windows were to have openings). Do ask for ALL dimensions!! We withheld the final 10% until threatened that we would need to pay at least half the remaining, not inconsiderable amount to get full FENSA registration documentation! We have lost an overall 18% in glazing and consequential light into our home. Six months after the windows were fitted, and despite several prompts we have not received a FENSA certificate.

The windows are great. Of nearly equal importance are the fitters. I am fairly sure Brunsdon use their own teams, not sub contracted out. Our guys did a top job. Very considerate of keeping inside of house clean and areas around the windows safe from damage, inside and out. Quite a tricky job with this cement rendered property.

Have been so badly let down by the customer service side of Jack Brunsdon, we went to them as they appeared to very high end, but sadly thats only in their prices. Firstly there were problems with the install date and we were left waiting an extra month for our order. The door was installed well and at first we were please with the product, but after a short while the paint appeared to be wearing thin and the base coat was showing through, we contacted JB and they sent an inspector round and he agreed that there was a problem and they would rectify it which meant a day off work. A few weeks later some decorators arrive and duly painted the door, but the finish was very uneven and there were new chips in the paint that had just put on and they calimed that "they didn't do it"........... We contacted JB again and after 4 weeks of toing and froing they agreed after seeing photos that it wasnt right and they would do it again, so an engeinner was arranged to come and repaint the door, which meant a day off work again, on the day the engineer failed to turn up at the time and phoned some time later stating he had got snowed in, ok these things happen but why not phone early I could have gone to work! At this point I expected a call from JB with an apology but it was not forthcoming. We contacted JB to ask them what was happening and they agreed another date on a Saturday, Saturday came and we received a call to say the engineer wasn't coming as the weather was too bad for decorating!!!! Why it took until the morning of the appointment to figure this out is anyones guess, perhaps they dont have windows or weather forecasts at JB? We were contacted a few weeks later to advise that the paining could not be done in the cold so it was best to wait until spring and they would schedule us in for then. Spring arrived and no contact from JB so once agian we contacted them to see what was happening and a few dates in the week were offered but after a few choice words a weekend date was agreed with a 9am start. At 8am on the day there was a knock on the door and it was the decorators from JB (so it appears they dont have watches either) and the door was removed for the job to commence a short time later there was another know to say the couldnt do it as it was raining and they had no covers to work under!!! Fortunately I had a garge they could use and the door was finished a good few hours later but to our horror it had been finished in gloss instead of matt. So here we are over a year after our initial complaint, problably the best part of 50 emails, several phone calls and 6 visits with a very expensive door not as ordered.

Total satisfaction with a very high quality door and finish, much admired by visitors and neighbours. The installation team took great care and caused minimal disruption on the day of installation.

Windows were installed in October 2017, expensive at 15k but they looked amazing. However In March 2018 I noticed that the architrave was coming away from the windows (6 windows in total), splits were appearing at both top and bottom and 2 top sashes are moving. It took 1 month for someone to view the issues, and since then no contact has been made. I have called the company on 4 occasions and whilst call backs have been promised, none have been received. Since initially reporting the issues the window sills are now coming away. Shocking after sales service.....
