United States | 25 August 2023My project manager Mike has been very patient and responsible individual to make sure all aspects of my projects were covered. At our end of the month zoom meeting he patiently explained all the facet of my SEO project, the only issue I felt was that they cramped in a lot of stuff towards the end of the project, I would have liked to see they would have expanded in a timely manner rather than just closing the month.

United States | 19 August 2023I wrote a bad review about the fraudulent practices of the company and the very very very bad service, that comes with it, so the supposedly the Gerneral manager call me after 4 to 5 days later saying that we could get my account fixed with 24 hours, I said why did it take you all this long to get back to me, after being cursed out, and hung up over and over again, I informed him that we found out the virus, was on their end, their host, and that should have gotten this fix in the first place, he agreed, then I informed him that I had already talk to Go Daddy and that they were going to fix the problem, and that will work with them, and I already paid them. then he offered me this in writing saying!! “ Hello Peter, It was a pleasure speaking to you today, With reference to our agreement we have decided to get your website live in the next 24 hours on the basis of your removing the negative reviews about Search Berg on Google and Trust Pilot platforms . The 24 hour deadline starts when the review has been successfully removed and is confirmed by my team. Please do respond to this email with a confirmation if you do agree to the following terms and we may proceed accordingly Thanking you Daniel Levi - Sr Account Manager Search Berg” I told him that I would thank about it and call I’m back, after talking to my Lawyer, we thought it would be best to move away from them, and let go Daddy keep my website I paid for. Daniel got very upset saying I don’t want you to be apart of SearchBerg system anymore, and even refused to give the website that I owned, and that already taken my website off of the server, so no one could retire it, but it there host that had the infection, these people are disgusting, then hung on, I was on the phone with Go Daddy and Mr Danial from Searchburg doing a three way with all three people on the phone, he refused to give Go Daddy and me my property and said that he already removed me from the server so Go Daddy will not be able to transfer my web! Shame shame on this company.I’m notified the FTC AND THE BBS THIS COMPANY SHOULD BE CRIMINALLY INVESTIGATED, and closed down!

Canada | 29 June 2023Have worked with Maxine (project manager) since December 2022, so about 8 months now. I am on a budget as a struggling artist and photographer. They did a website audit right off the bat and found no serious problems. We started SEO services in December. They evaluated the site and suggested 25 keywords. I changed some keywords because I already ranked high for them. We agreed on 25 keywords and none of them ranked on Google or Bing. In December 2022 there was a Google update that killed traffic to the site. Searchberg recovered traffic by February and March. I have taken various packages from Standard SEO to Advance SEO in the last eight months. As of today, 24 keywords rank on Google and Bing. 17 of these keywords are in the top 20 on Google and Bing. I have keywords in the top 3 on Google and Bing with results on the first page of Google and Bing. Searchberg created the content and gave me the power to change or re-write everything as I saw fit. Sure there were spelling mistakes that spell checkers didn't pick up, and the grammar needed some tweaking. They even allowed me to change the photographs to what I wanted in each blog post and article they produced. The takeaway here is that it was not AI-generated and a human created the content. We have started link building on top of SEO now, and Searchberg has been outreaching out to sites in my niche to find the correct fit. We started social media and my social traffic to the website jumped from zero to 159 visits per week. No company is 100% flawless, that's not realistic. I trust Searchberg and Maxine to do the finest for my company.

United States | 08 March 2023On January 30, 2023, a year after using Searchberg for SEO services for my published books, I received a Claim Number for Copyright Infringement from a legitimate copyright law firm in California. They requested I provide them with the license for using one of their client’s copyrighted photographs of the Denver skyline that was used in a campaign by Searchberg on my website. I immediately contacted my PM at Searchberg regarding their licensing of this photo and was told that their legal department would be contacted and would get back to me and that I “would not be hung out to dry”. To date they HAVE NOT responded to any of my requests for assistance. After consulting an attorney and doing our “due diligence” of both the photographer, the photo of the Denver skyline Searchberg used, and the US Copyright Licensing Office, we found that it was indeed a misuse of the photo. We were advised by our counsel to not ignore this claim. We negotiated with the copyright law firm and settled the claim. All documentation has been provided to Searchberg with no response to date from them, even though they were responsible for the use of this copyrighted photo. This is written in the hopes that it may “save” other unsuspecting clients of this financial and personal pain.

United States | 09 September 2022Stay away! I work with this company for four months and I was confident because they guarantee that my website will be well build and I will start have clients if I will not be happy I can have my money back. After my project was done I didn’t have no clients and I found out that my website is not functional! My website was working fine before I just needed some updates and a good marketing wherever they did when I find a client on my own she couldn’t make a payment or schedule an appointment, so frustrating I go back to them and they told me that is my fault I should check when it was done in the first month and now I have to pay again, When I mention that I wanna use their policy and have my money back they told me that is my fault about website, they show me that was 2-3 clicks on my page and that means they give me clients, visitors and clients are different things !!!! and maybe that was me because I was checking my website all the time you can’t claim that you give me clients because no one contact me, on top of everything they add that maybe the first company who initial build my website was going through my stuff but who responsibility is to secure my website and my personal information I should’ve been informed immediately if was any suspicious activity. Well, I spend thousands of dollars and time so at the end I had to close my website. they don’t take no responsibility for there job and there’s no way to have your money back because they gonna use everything against you , Before you signed the contract they promise you so many things over the phone but not in writing be email so in case that you complain you literally don’t have no proves!!!!! This is how they did to me I know I have the right to ask for my refund but they told me show me that agreement and when I told them that it was verbal over the phone they text ,,you have no case ‘’ * And by the way this is my second review because my first one disappear and I’m wondering why they have only good reviews somehow bad reviews disappearing.

United Kingdom | 23 June 2022Stay well clear. Salesman jermey promised the earth after doing a website audit and sold me a seo package that he said would get results. Project manager adam said i should be on a more expensive package and non of my agreed keywords were ever worked on! 5 thousand pounds later and they stopped answering my calls. How is this even legal!! Please please please stay well away

United States | 10 June 2022I see the glowing reviews and it seems like I worked with a different company. They pressured me to give them a good review on trust pilot early on before they had done much work for me, so there's another review from me that shows 5 stars, which isn't where I am now. They performed a couple of services for me... 1. They migrated my site into WordPress. This did not go well at all. Different people worked on each page and there was little cohesion throughout the site, with different fonts and looks on every page. It was literally impossible to get them to correct everything so I had to learn WordPress and get into the site myself to make the corrections. This drug on for quite some time. It became evident during this process that the website was not being done in the US, as they did not have a handle on punctuation, capitalization, and many basics of English. 2. SEO. They had a few good writers but most of the posts came from outside the US. Their unfamiliarity with English was very evident. I began rewriting nearly every post. The content was often fluff that just came across as excuses to use SEO words and phrases. Many times they didn't even make sense. A minority of the work had good content. But rewriting everything became a full-time job for me. So they were turning out a lot of work and did increase my rankings but they could not handle being left alone with the work. They made many, many promises to improve and learn from their mistakes but nothing ever changed in the 7 months I worked with them. I heard, "That will not happen again" 100 times only to see the same mistake again the next week, or even in the next batch of posts sent for my approval.

United States | 09 June 2022STAY FAR AWAY! I used Searchberg for a few projects and let me explain the situation with one and why you should NOT work with the company. #1 Your project manager will always be in a meeting when you call, since the time I signed up with them, I have had 3 different project managers and the issue is the same, they will never be readily available when you call, then the receptionist will tell you that they will get a message over to them and they will call back but NO, they won’t call back they will send an email. They keep switching project managers, this says a lot already. #2 I purchased a website, with 1 year of maintenance, they should make it clear before you sign up that maintenance is NOT website edits, it's simply making sure your website is up and running (which doesn’t take much time or effort), and any further changes you may need, ex: need product, title change, price change, etc, will come at an extra cost. OK, fine, let's say I was aware of this and was okay with it, when it comes time for me personally to enter the WP backend to make my own changes, I can not access the entire backend because they used a paid theme and kept the credentials for themselves. So pretty much, to enter the backend of the installed theme that they purchased to create the site, I need the credentials for it, I asked them for it considering the website is MINE and I paid for FULL OWNERSHIP of it, they are requesting I pay to get the credentials for the theme backend. SO now, I am stuck in this circle where they tell me I need to pay for further edits or do the edits myself, then I try to do the edits myself, and OH! I can’t because I don’t have access to it. What a pickle. #3 Their communication is extremely poor and email responses take several days. #4 They do not provide any additional value. They won’t provide recommendations on how to make your website better, nothing. As a matter of fact, they literally do what you tell them and if you are not a website expert they will create a poorly designed site based on your requests when in fact, a trustworthy agency would give pointers as well as provide feedback on why certain things should NOT be done on your site. #5 They promise mobile-friendly sites and DO NOT produce it. I have requested over several weeks to have my website edited based on what I paid for, MOBILE FRIENDLY, and they ignore my requests. Do not do business with them.

United States | 22 May 202210 THINGS YOU DON'T KNOW ABOUT SEARCHBERG 1.) IT'S A NUMBERS GAME FOR THEM. It appears that there's really no strategy behind their SEO. It's a hit and miss. But a good strategy they have is taking your money. They promise you a money back guarantee but then they will string you along for 6-8 months because "SEO takes time". Next thing you know, they will use that not to give you their refund. 2.) LACK OF HONESTY A real SEO company would mark a client's IP address and their own so as not to affect the metric of the visits. They used my own IP hits as justification for the bump. Who knows what they will do to future clients on inflating traffic from shady IP addresses. 3.) OVERALL TRAFFIC WENT DOWN My traffic for the last 8 months just kept going down with no confidence as to the next move. 4.) YOU'RE BETTER OFF POSTING ON SOCIAL MEDIA and BLOG ARTICLES ON YOUR OWN. Bad postings and unmet postings on social media. 5.) SHORT LINKS ARE IMPORTANT They didn't do short links on my site. 6.) THEY WILL LIE & NOT HONOR THEIR WORD Rick emailed me and said that they will refund all the money I paid. You can guess what happened, nothing. Thank you Rick. Thank you Valerie. 7.) INCONSISTENT FOLLOW UPS & CANNOT BE REACHED 8.) THERE WERE SALES NO SALES CONVERSIONS THROUGH THEM 9. ) YOU'RE BETTER OFF PAYING $200-$300 TO AN INDEPENDENT SEO FOR THOUSANDS OF BACKLINKS Better pay someone directly than paying SearchBerg with their mark-up. 10.) REVIEWS HERE ARE LIKELY PREDETERMINED (POSSIBLY EVEN BOUGHT) I've asked around the industry and I've heard that many, including SearchBerg, are now applying positive counter-feedbacks like maybe 5-10 for every negative review they get. If you look at Yelp, Reddit, TrustPilot, Google Reviews and Better Business Bureau, there's plenty of bad reviews for SearchBerg yet all of a sudden, several positive reviews would show up (such as in Google). If you're thinking that service was rendered for me, I actually I must now redo everything. If you want to see photos, please see head over to SearchBerg's Yelp review (New York)

Canada | 22 August 2021Doesn't matter what plan you take it's not worth more than $100/month. A bunch of articles, blog posts, and citations won't move the needle for SEO. Better get that work done from Fiverr or Upwork for $100/month. Plus the staff is also incompetent and do not understand the nuances of how Google's search engine algorithm works.

Latvia | 30 June 2021Just horrible experience. Made two link building orders, first order they made in time but didn't meet requirements we agreed on. Second-order finished only 15% of it and afterward refuse to finish it and didn't do any refund also. Just horrible service.
