I'm actually quite unhappy with Purima. I ordered some nuts via a third-party reseller (happy about that, price and delivery) and found a note in my consignment saying "Purchase from our webstore and receive 25% OFF your first order" no asterisk. OK. On the reverse side of the note it says "Create a customer account... Your code will be emailed to you (Min Spend £50)". Still OK. So, I set up an account with Purima and set about buying things I didn't really need to make the total cost up from £31 to 50; I also got an email saying here's your code for 25% off (MIN Pre Discount £75 Spend Applies Excluding VAT & Delivery). Assuming I spent exactly £75 just to get the discount, this translates to a final bill of £56. Not OK: because you promised 25% for a minimum spend of £50 on the flyer. I feel this was deceptive (i.e. I was mislead by the £50 minimum spend condition). So, I took nearly all of the extra items out of my cart. I hope you understand why. The funny thing is, I would actually have been perfectly happy with the price and service if I hadn't had the "switcheroo" offer, but now I feel bad. Edit: I should add that in between receiving the offer and taking them up on it I had to eat 3kg of nuts, so I accept there was a delay and the offer could have changed. There was nothing about "valid until" or "conditions may change" on the offer, which is probably what set up the false expectations here. The flyer should include this extra text to avoid disappointment.
