Great experience with Floyd Design & Build. After my house was destroyed by a burst pipe they looked after everything - from reboarding ceilings, walls, plastering, fitting loft flooring, Ramsay ladders, kitchen worktops, tiling, spot lighting, wood flooring to advice on a 2nd floor extension in the pipeline. There were snags as always - but these were quickly resolved with creativity, great communication and a brilliant result. My house was made a home in 3 months, compared to my neighbours with the same damage, who are still waiting 7 months on with other contractors. Super professional - i liked having a contract as opposed to a quote scribbled on the back of an envelope! The quote was fair, well costed, i could see that everything was planned for - no unexpected delays, no extensive add ons pushing up the price over budget, no excuses. I've experienced from other contractors the attractive low quote that ended up costing more than all other quotes in the end! Not the case here, honesty at the start. I will be recommending to friends & family and using as my 1st choice from now on. Well done guys, great experience.

Gives me great pleasure to recommend Robert and all his hard work in transforming my old 1960’s house into something that I can finally smile about. I guess my biggest lesson is: don’t bother trying to find 4 different trades, this clever chap can turn his hand to anything and make a brilliant job of all. Need doors hung? Robert can do this. Need laminate or herringbone floor done? Robert can do this. Need your kitchen tiled? Robert can do this. Need new skirtings to go with your new floor and have awkward radiator pipes? Robert is your man. Is your wall needing attention? This man can plaster too!! Do not go anywhere else! I wish him all the very best in his business and thank him for his great communication and actually turning up. Unlike most of my other trades 🙄.
