Dawn was very welcoming and put my son at ease straightaway. She made the assessment fun for my son which made him cooperate more and reduce anxiety. Dawn was very thorough in her findings some of which we hadn’t even noticed and then with the report. The report was very thorough and we and others now know what adaptions my son is required to have for the rest of his life. Thank you Dawn.

She recently conducted three EASI Sensory Integration assessments for my boys, and she was absolutely fantastic. We saw Dawn for a handwriting assessment for my son who has autism. We needed to gather evidence to allow him to keep his support in school. The appointment was fantastic, she was really lovely and was incredible with my son. We felt listened to, understood and not rushed at all. We recieved the report very quickly and it was incredibly thorough and in depth. Due to Dawn's assessment my sons school have now implemented most of her suggestions. I can't recommend Waves Occupational Therapy highly enough, after years of trying to get my son an assessment on the NHS and being ignored and being passed around. I came across Waves and from start to finish it was easy, professional, friendly. My son suffers with severe Anxiety and has Autism so really struggles meeting new people but Dawn put us both at ease from the moment we walked in. I learnt so much at the assessment and had many questions answered that I didn't expect to get. Dawn let us know about the process and the time frames involved with the assessment and diagnosis, Dawn rushed my sons review through as he is about to sit his GCSE'S, I couldn't belive how quick we got the report and recommendations.
